Did an e-bike tour in Montreal yesterday and honestly had the best time. The route was absolutely fantastic — we got to see so much of the city in a way you just can’t from a bus or on foot. From charming neighbourhoods to stunning views from top Mount Royal, every stop felt like a highlight. The e-bikes made it effortless, so you could just soak in the scenery without breaking a sweat. If you’re visiting Montreal and want a fun, memorable way to explore, this is a must-do. Already thinking about coming back!
Wow, what a great way to see Montreal! When we arrived, our guide, David, took one look at our on the smaller side twins and was skeptical they were old enough to ride — 14 is the minimum age here, and they just made the cut (passports settled it). He did a great job making sure we all understood how to operate the bikes and emphasized staying together for the three-hour journey. We chose the afternoon tour (having already spent the morning climbing Monte Royal). David was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, shared interesting insights about the city, and kept us engaged while consistently keeping an eye on the kids' safety. He took lots of family photos, and gave us time to wander on foot in several places. Montreal is a gorgeous city with so many wonderful neighborhoods; a highlight for all of us was riding the F1 track, still being dismantled for the season. Having enjoyed a meat-filled lunch at Schwartz’s before the ride, David suggested for our vegetarian daughter that my we try a vegan restaurant called LOV for dinner — none of us, him included, are vegans. Boy, did he steer us right: a delicious meal in a beautiful setting.
Due to the bad weather, I was able to cancel the tour at short notice, and the money was refunded. Excellent service from the tour provider.
This e-bike tour is the best of the best and worth every penny! Our tour guide David was outstanding! Knowledgeable, professional, showed us many hidden gems well off the beaten path! Great way to see the city!
Great tour, knowledgeable guide, fun experience. The e-bikes were great and easy to ride, and the tour of Montreal was enjoyable.
This tour is a great way to see the city if you have limited time in Montreal. Our tour guide was charismatic, insightful, and attentive. Despite not having experience in city cycling, we felt safe and comfortable navigating around the city. The e-bikes do take a little time to get used to but by the end of the tour you want to buy one.
Loved this Tour - the bikes were great. A bit different from your usual e-bike. David our guide was fabulous. Very safety conscious which was good as we rode through the city as well as on bike paths. We really enjoyed the local history and David pointing out the direction and landmarks around where we were heading. He was good company. Was great to get some background on neighbourhoods as we rode through and the stop at the bagel shop was great. Would never have found our way to these places on our own.
It was a great tour close up on the e bikes. We tasted two local eateries. The famous Montreal bagels which was fresh out the oven. Also a local donut shop where the donuts were again freshly made.
Great experience. David was knowledgeable and entertaining. A plus was you didn’t have to pedal during the ride.
Tour operator confirmed tour but never showed up. I called the tour operator and they didn't answer. I was disappointed as we were really looking forward to this tour. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it's discouraging.
