Absolutely terrible. We paid for a “boat tour” around the bay of Kotor. It was essentially a ferry. It doesn’t stop along the coast to let you swim or jump off like we had thought. Food is not included as you would assume (that’s our fault for not reading the website). To go to the caves is an extra €10 per person on top of the €40. There was barely any seating as it was so crowded, like group had to split up and share tables with other people. We tried to jump off the boat when it stopped at a pebble beach and they said no it’s too dangerous, although just minutes before the boat crew were jumping off! An hour and a half is not enough time to explore Kotor. So disappointing and wish I had booked a different company, don’t waste your time.
Excellent trip , fabulous scenery, brilliant coach driver and tour guide. The trip on its own is definitely worth doing and I would highly recommend it. The only downside was waiting to get through the border crossing ( Croatia side ) on the way back for 3.5 hours and not being able to use the restroom.
We really enjoyed this trip. Combining the bus ride with the boat tour and the walking tour of Kotor provided a variety of enjoyable experiences. The trip was well organized, efficient and kept to a good time schedule. Of course, crossing the border twice in a day took up time. But, everyone was patient and things went smoothly.
Enjoyed the coach trip around Kotor bay. The tour guide was very informative and friendly. She told us about Montenegro and Kotor. The local tour guide in Kotor was good and made the visit that more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Wonderful day in Kotor, I want to highlight the good vibes of Andrea and the other girl whose name I don't remember although the tour is in English the girls also speak Spanish and if you have any questions or didn't understand something in English they will gladly clarify it for you in Spanish, the only thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to be a little patient at the border, it went well for us but it can be delayed, again I reiterate the good vibes of the two girls and the bus driver!
Great way to spend the day and get to see other countries. Tour guide was very good and informative.
Ollie was a fantastic host! She was enthusiastic and her instructions on where to meet in Kotor, Prevast and the island plus at what time, were super! The border crossing was very slow (90 min in morning and 2 hours returning) due to tourist volume. We loved Prevast the most as quaint and picturesque. Kotor was stifling hot and super busy plus walls radiate heat so come prepared.
Great tour. The female tour guide Olie was so knowledgeable, Vibrant and enthusiastic to delivery a lot of cultural information about Croatia.
This tour was ok but personally would be improved by a longer time in Kotor old town and cutting out the lady of the rock visit. We only had around 2 hrs before we had to get bus back at 14.30. Perast is pretty but basically a ferry stop for the boat and the lady of the rock can clearly be seen from the road. There’s also a 3 euro charge to go into the small church-not much to see. Kotor bay is beautiful and is a natural fjord. Boat took around 45min. Border back was quick but waited 40 min on way out. Aircon on bus wasn’t good and it was 33’. It all felt a bit rushed.
My husband and I took this tour on our first full day in Croatia. We learned so much and loved our guide and driver. There was plenty of time to visit each site. I was happily surised to find out that the boat we took to the island also took us directly to Kotor. The wait at the boarder went by quickly and we were lucky on our return to only have a 25 minute wait! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area for the first time.
