Itinerary

This is our meeting point, we all gather here, the guide briefly presents him/herself and off we go! 1,5 h tour begins! Dubrovnik never fails to awe the visitor; its streets paved with white limestone, its walls crowning the city, and its medieval sandstone-colored houses oozing with history. This 1.5-hour guided walking tour takes you deep into the city’s 1,400-year history, recalling ancient tales when Dubrovnik was one of the world’s most prosperous port cites. It tells tales of war and lets the tour-goer in on the culture of the city. After meeting in Pile area, in front of Sky bar, begin the journey through history and through Old Town. Pass the Franciscan Monastery and admire Orlando’s Column, a monument on the Stradun inspired by the city’s long-standing freedom and sovereignty. See, too, Onofrio’s Fountain, built in 1438 at the end of a 8-mile (12-km) aqueduct that gave the city its water supply. The walk also passes by the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace and the Cathedral of the Assumption, a baroque church built after the devastating earthquake of 1667.

Great Walking Tour with Bronco! 🚶‍♀️🇭🇷

I had a wonderful 1.5-hour walking tour with Dubrovnik Walks. Bronko was an excellent guide—personable, knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely funny. He brought Dubrovnik’s history to life with interesting stories and a great sense of humor. The tour was the perfect combination of history, local insight, and fun. Bronko made the experience engaging from beginning to end. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Bronko as your guide!

Wonderful way to see the old city.

Mara was a great guide. Informative and friendly. Good pace. Mara really knows her subject matter and we feel somewhat more educated than before we started!

Give my money back

Does not worth what you pay for history lesson instead of talking about details of the city

Too good to miss

Our guide was Branko. The guide & tour was excellent. Branko was very knowledgeable and had a great humorous side to his delivery. Some inside stories to the war in 1991, that he was involved in with his family was a great insight. We highly recommend Branko and this tour.

An excellent introduction to Dubrovnik

Dora was an excellent guide. She described the history of Dubrovnik and explained how it has shaped its people and their homeland. She also helped us to navigate the city having just arrived that afternoon. Her recommendations for local eateries and shops have been very helpful.
