It was very informative & beautiful ................................................................
We purchased tickets for this park on line with guide tour included. Park itself is very safe and beautiful. However, a tour guide can give you more information and spot sloths, who are masters in camouflage. You won’t be able to spot sloths yourself. This is certain. We also saw frogs, tiny snakes and spiders always from safety distance. Moreover view from hanging bridges is outstanding. I strongly recommend early the morning visit when park is not so busy. When park is busy there is long wait at hanging bridges.
Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide! Saw several snakes, exotic birds and a squirrel. Would recommend this tour to others!
The Hanging Bridges is an amazing experience. Our first excursion there was with a tour guide who helped us see a lot of things we would have missed on our own. We saw snakes, sloths, monkeys, and lots of birds. We loved it so much, that we went back another day at 6:15 AM by ourselves to birdwatch some more. Unfortunately, this experience was ruined by one of their workers leaf-blowing the path behind us for half of the route. He tried to stay a distance away, however the noise was very loud and distracting. You could not hear the birds as well and it likely kept animals away. This was a bit ironic as there are signs posted about keeping quiet. I imagine this is done for safety reasons, but I would suggest they do it before any public is allowed into the park.
Overall a great experience. Recommend you book one of their highly trained guides for their knowledge.
