This was a great way to get a little history about Milwaukee. Alexis was friendly and very knowledgeable. She shared interesting information and kept the tour at a good pace. We tasted a wide variety of delicious foods and got insight into other fun sites and stops in the city.

Colin was very knowledgeable about Milwaukee’s culture, history, and cuisine. His good and drink choices were right on target. I also appreciated his enthusiasm and helpful demeanor. I highly recommend this tour.

What a wonderful way to experience Milwaukee! Colin was amazing and really took care of his group, going above and beyond. The varied dishes were delicious and well planned, and the walking tour was very informative and interesting. Definitely a must-do!

Good way to see the city by foot. Food was average. Our guide was nice enough but inexperienced. We had a descent time.

I’ve taken a lot of Secret Food Tours. Milwaukee is probably the sixth one I’ve gone one. This said, it becomes easy to compare/contrast and be a bit critical when applicable. Our guide, LaShawn, was admittedly newer to the SecretFood Tour family. As such he’s still in a learning curve. Were I to offer constructive criticism it would be that the tour was missing a bit more history and local lore and random factoids. Not a ton of chit chat between stops. Besides this LaShawn is a very social and warm person to speak with and kept the tour moving. Plus, when asked, he was able to share some of his hidden gems that were not part of the tour. Compared to other tours I felt MKE was a bit “spendier”. The food stops were very much what I expected. Meaning that you got a great sense of the foods that define MKE. Having spent so much time in MKE, I felt the food variety to be very representative. Yet, I find a big miss by not having a Kringle as part of the tour. So much good bakery in MKE! If you take the tour during the summer months as I did, you get a good sense of the vibrancy of the city: Summerfest, Brewers baseball, and weekend visitors. Traveling along the Riverwalk between stops certainly added to the enjoyment of the tour. Considering all things, I would rate the tour as a B/B-. Solid but a bit overpriced.
We appreciate you joining us. Sharing the city through its local food and stories is always a pleasure. We've also noted your shared thoughts as we look to continuously refine the experience. We hope you'll join Secret Food Tours again soon!
The food was tasty and ample. There was some "city tour" info shared, but much less than in other food tours we've taken. We had wandered around the same area of the city the previous day and learned more from quick Google searches than our guide shared. And while the guide was very friendly, he didn't initiate much conversation and we walked in silence much of the time. Also, the last food stop on the tour wasn't the same as the indicated end point (although the guide did walk back to the end point). Had we known, we could have parked much more conveniently.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Robert. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the food and found the tastings both tasty and filling. We also appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the guiding experience. Our food tours are thoughtfully curated to showcase the local food scene while bringing the city's flavors and stories to life. Our guides are typically known for their enthusiasm and for creating an engaging, interactive experience for guests, so we value your perspective as we continue refining our tours. We also appreciate you pointing out the confusion regarding the final stop. This can sometimes occur due to occasional tour adjustments based on venue or item availability, and your feedback helps us continue improving how we communicate these details to future guests. That said, thank you again for taking the time to leave your review. We hope you'll join us again on another Secret Food Tour and enjoy the experience we're known for.
Highly recommend this food tour! Our guide, Alexis Sherry, was so friendly and shared awesome recommendations for the rest of our time in Milwaukee. The food stops were excellent, especially the fresh and fried cheese curds, the Walleye Fish Fry at St. Paul Fish Company, and the iconic Usinger's sausages. We finished with delicious ice cream at Purple Door. It was a great 3.5 hours of eating and exploring. Thank you, Alexis, and good luck with your upcoming medical residency!
Your feedback is truly appreciated! We're glad you found so much to enjoy throughout the experience. We hope to see you again with Secret Food Tours.

You get quite a bit of food on this tour - we left absolutely stuffed. I would also recommend the alcohol package. We got to try some beverages that you might not find outside of Milwaukee. Alexis was very sweet!
