Morning: Chisinau City Walking Tour Meet your guide at a central location or your hotel in Chisinau. Embark on a guided walking tour of Chisinau, Moldova's charming capital. Afternoon: Milestii Mici Winery Excursion Depart Chisinau in a comfortable car to Milestii Mici Winery (approx. 40-minute drive). Explore the largest underground wine cellar in the world, registered in the Guinness World Records. Tour Highlights: Guided excursion through the underground labyrinth, stretching over 200 km of tunnels. Learn about the winery's history, winemaking traditions, and unique storage conditions. This is a "must do" experience when visiting Chisinau. The largest wine cellar in the world is quite something to behold. 1.5 million bottles of wine!! The knowledgeable guide provided details of the origin of the cellar, the processes involved, who kept their wines in the cellars and much more. At the end of the tour there was an individual plate of meats and olives plus three glasses of wine - red, white and dessert. Dasha was a very safe driver and collected me from the hotel. She provided much interesting information about Chisinau and Moldova which I would otherwise not have known.
We had a good tour with our lovely guide. We saw many interesting things and learned a lot about how wine is produced and stored. The guide explained everything clearly and in an engaging way. The wine tasting at the end was absolutely fantastic and a perfect finish to the experience.
