Beautiful grounds. Sad history. The tour and staff at Middleton were very helpful, kind and happy to answer any questions. Our tour guide Mike was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun! Definitely recommend this tour and Mike Frederick!
We had an excellent tour of Middleton Place with Mike. His knowledge of the history, gardens, and significance of the property made the experience both educational and enjoyable. Mike was engaging, friendly, and passionate about sharing the stories behind this beautiful landmark. He answered all of our questions and made the tour interesting from start to finish. We left with a much greater appreciation for Charleston's history. Highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a memorable and informative tour experience! Mike's personal knowledge and love for the city comes through in the conversations and information he shares. He is one of a kind and a jewel of a tour guide!!
Thank you Mary. That is so kind. I hope our paths will cross again. All the best, Mike
Mike was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, an endless stream of interesting stories. Highly recommend.
Thank you for those kind words. It was a total pleasure being with you and Dan.
Mike is a treasure! He has a wealth of knowledge of Charleston is full of recommendations for restaurants in the area. He was also able to give a lot of historical information on our tour and was much more enjoyable than exploring on your own.
Mike our guide was amazing. His knowledge base is outstanding. We had two prior group tours of both the Boone and Magnolia plantations. We were not particularly impressed with either of those. Mike picked us up at our hotel and showed us a number of historic sites and buildings before we headed to the Middleton plantation, his narrative was vastly superior to the other group tours that we had. The one on one interaction allows us to ask more questions and really get a feel for life at Middleton back in the day. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
You're the best. Thanks for those kind words.

Being picked up at my hotel was great. The guide, Mike Frederick was friendly, very knowledgeable and gave a wonderful tour. In fact I was the only person so I had my own private guide. Highly recommend!
Mike was very knowledgeable about the property and its history. Thoroughly enjoyed Mike’s stories. Our time spent on the plantation was fantastic and would do it again.
