Wonderful experience! Beautiful views. Elisha and Brady were wonderful guides, entertaining and informative! It’s clear they love what they do. Would recommend.
It was a great way to get very close to Mendenhall Glacier, and our tour guides Elemis and Sophie were fantastic! The combination of canoeing and hiking was a lot of fun, especially for our teenage boys.
Our Mendenhall Glacier Ice Tour was an absolutely incredible experience and one of the highlights of our trip! The scenery was breathtaking, and getting to explore the glacier up close was unforgettable. A huge thank you to our amazing guides, Tor and Elisha. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire adventure both fun and safe. They shared fascinating information about the glacier, kept everyone engaged, and made sure our group was comfortable throughout the tour. Their enthusiasm and professionalism really made the experience special. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend this tour. It’s an unforgettable adventure, and Tor and Elisha are outstanding guides who truly go above and beyond!
Tor and Elisha really do go above and beyond! They are two of the best guides around, and we are thrilled to hear that you had an incredible experience paddling on the Mendenhall Lake. Thanks for supporting local business like Liquid Alaska!
Sophie and Brady were phenomenal guides!! I would give this tour a 6/5 if I could! They were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating the entire time and also emphasized safety as a priority!! You will not be disappointed if you book this tour!!
a 6/5 averages out to 120%, which means that Sophie and Brady did so well that they got extra credit! We are ecstatic to hear that it was a six star experience on the lake with these wonderful guides, and thank you for booking with Liquid Alaska!
Tor and Elisha were so knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining! We really enjoyed our canoe out to Mendenhall Glacier and walk about. We saw many eagles and even a mountain goat!
Wildlife galore, more like the wild life with Tor! She is an expert on the Alaskan wilderness, and Elisha is a seasoned backpacker/paddler in the area with lots of good fishing stories. The two of them always put on an amazing trip, and we thrilled to hear that you think so too. Thanks for choosing Liquid!
We had a great experience on this tour. Our guides, Elymus and Elisha were amazing. Elymus was super knowledgeable about glaciers and nature and Elisha was a great navigator on the lake!
When you put the like of Elymus and Elisha on the same canoe, legendary moments simply must happen! They are two of the sharpest guides around, and it sounds like you had a memorable day with them on the Mendenhall. Thanks for choosing Liquid Alaska!
The tour was fantastic. I had a really nice time. The guides, Cortland and Brady were very good. Their instructions were clear, we were prepared, they were serious about safety, and they were knowledgeable, funny, enthusiastic, and kind. The tour couldn’t have been better. I loved paddling the big canoe.
The big canoe was made for you! Cortland and Brady are such a dynamic duo, their guests report being exhausted from laughter afterwards. We also ecstatic that they had fun while taking safety very seriously. Thank you so much for choosing Liquid!
Liquid Alaskwn Tours, was spot on running on time and had a great trip planed out. Even better are the 2 Guides we had, Caption Brady and Co Caption my Caption Cortland. Took a good tour and made it exceptional. There local knowledge, real facts and joke took our trip to a whole new level. I would take any tour both these guys. Go have an adventure with them, and make long lasting memories, and new family members.
We trust Brady and Cortland with our lives, our happiness, and our glaciers! They are two of the best guides around, and we are always happy to read that the guests have a wonderful experience with them. Thanks for touring with Liquid, and safe travels!
Overall outstanding. Pickup was smooth and prompt (I was not coming from a cruise so I took an uber to the pickup location), then they took us to the lake where they had all gear ready - boots, rain jacket/pants if you didn’t want to use your own, gloves, oar, life jackets/PFDs, snacks, and personal dry bag for each person. They taught us the canoe basics and we were on our way. The guides Cortland and Brady were so funny and excellent at leading the group, very safe and shared lots of great knowledge about the environment and area history. The canoeing itself was great and they do short breaks so you don’t get too tired. The hike was short and not too difficult, with excellent views of the glacier (no need to go up and on it/touch it - the views from this hike were perfect). Ended with canoe back and then hot cocoa! Overall excellent time and highly recommend. This tour company (Liquid Alaska) is smallest in Juneau and doesn’t work with the cruise lines directly, so a very local and personalized experience.
Brady and Cortland are two of the finest guides around, and we aren't just talking about looks! We are a small, local company that prides itself on the kind of service and experience that it sounds like you had on tour. The glacier views, informative paddle narrative, and all the laughs in between are hard to beat Thanks for choosing to vacation with Liquid Alaska!
