Our state of the art boats are equipped with restrooms and heated cabins to make this journey extra comfortable. Our fleet of fast jet boats all have plenty of outdoor deck space so you can choose to watch the wildlife in the open air or from the comfort of the cabin. Please meet your tour representative 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time underneath the tent on the wooden dock that is on the water-side of the large red Mt Robert's Tramway building (building that houses the gondola that goes up the mountain) at the main Cruise Ship Terminal. The address is 490 S Franklin St, Juneau, AK 99801 and the pickup location is on the ocean-side of the building. Your Alaska Tales Tour Representative will be holding a sign that will read, "Alaska Tales". If you have any trouble finding this person, please call us.

Whale Tales is an excellent excursion experience! The crew is fantastic! Lexi the bus driver kept us entertained with her corny jokes. James the captain got us to the best location for seeing whales. Griffin and Monica, the naturalists, were very knowledgeable! Griffin is a true whale nerd and very fun! We saw a total of 5 whales! You definitely want to book this excursion!

We saw a lot of whale activity from maybe seven different whales. Large and comfortable boat with an incredible crew: professional, knowledgeable, and experienced; from the shuttle driver through to the boat captain. This trip fulfilled a lifelong dream for my wife and her enthusiasm was matched by the crew. Shoutouts to Taylor, Michelle and Monica!

The overall experience was awesome. Ash did such an awesome job keeping it fun. You can really tell how passionate and knowledgeable the whole team was. This is a must stop if visiting Juneau.
