I am very satisfied with my trip to Turku. We visited many different places including the Turku Castle and the Turku Cathedral. So much history !
Turku Castle is fascinating for both adults and children because there are many interactive activities. They are very well designed and truly engaging. The castle itself has a large number of exhibits, and you can even try on medieval armor and clothing! The staff are extremely professional, especially Tulli, who helped us when we were in trouble. Our highest recommendations!
Turku was an exceptional city to visit. The Turku Castle which according to our guide was a renaissance Palace, the river dividing the city in the Old and New area (town). Alexander was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide.
The tour to Turku was carried out despite there being only three people, so it was practically a private tour. Our guide, Sergio, made sure our experience in Turku was excellent. He took us to the most relevant sites, and his stories, extensive knowledge of the subject, and friendliness were the perfect complement to our visit. Not only do we recommend the experience, but we recommend doing it with Sergio as your guide.
The Turku city tour was brilliant! Our guide was so friendly and really knew their stuff, which made all the history easy to follow and proper interesting. We got to see the stunning castle, the quaint old town, and lovely river views—all in one day with no bother at all. The pace was just right, and the guide made sure everyone felt welcome and enjoyed themselves. If you’re visiting Helsinki, this tour is a must!
Visiting Luostarinmäki was like making a time trip there for the 19th century with those authentic wooden houses that escaped from the fierce fire of Turku in 1827. Walking through the stone streets is feeling the day-to-day of the artisans more than 200 years ago, right in their vibe. Turku Castle is another footprint, a giant medieval castle, full of stories of battles, kings and defense of the city. The two places together give a massive and super cool panorama of Turku's past that you can't miss.
Turku castle was a marvelous place to visit with a lot cultural heritage. We were very pleased with this tour. Sergio was a nice company. Totally recommended!
Turku is a beautiful mix of history and modern life, with its castle, cathedral, and lively Aura riverside making it a perfect city to explore on foot.
We were blown away by the history and fun of this tour! Our guide had us take a very nice bus with tvs and outlets and very comfortable seats so the 2 hour bus ride flew by, we went to the castle and had an amazing experience. We were able to dress up in armor and time period outfits and take pictures and it was a blast! We then took a tour through the castle with a tour guide that worked there and learned every aspect of history throughout the years for it. We walked to a cathedral, market square, and saw so much of Turku. Sergio was amazing with providing all of the history and explaining everything we were seeing and answering our questions. He went above and beyond to have us see every part of Turku and walk us to as many places as we could before riding the bus back. He was so personable and friendly and we loved having him as a tour guide!! Would recommend this tour and guide to everyone.
Wow! Wouldn't have expected this possibility to do a day trip from Helsinki to Turku. But it was great! Turku is a very beautiful town and we saw and heard lots of nice and interesting details from the history. But the best thing was our super friendly guide, Sergio! 🤩
