Margaret River Private Day Tours

Description
This private day tour takes you on a journey through some of the most beautiful countryside in Australia. Locals go for the Region, not the Margaret River township. There are many Attractions, Wineries, Breweries, Caves, Forest drives and stunningly beautiful beaches in the region and I will guide you to places that suit your taste. Margaret Rivers wineries are internationally celebrated and it is one of the most environmentally diverse regions in the world. The township of Margaret River is approximately four hours south of Perth and for many this sounds like a challenging drive. I include stops along the way which are historical, cultural, naturally beautiful, local and fun! Specially selected small country towns and locations are chosen for the unique characteristics which make them stand out from the ordinary. The tour can be customised to include your special interests and offers the experience that suits you. **Not all options listed in the itinerary are possible.

Itinerary
The Ludlow Tuart Forest is a beautiful forest drive approaching Busselton town.
Originally a seaside timber port and now a busy regional hub and popular holiday destination, Busselton has grown considerably into an impressive major country town in the south west. A stop at the Jetty is a must. The Train & Underwater observatory tour is a 2 hour experience. Please consider if a brief 25min photo stop is enough as time on this tour is precious.
There are a number of impressive caves available and Ngilgi Cave is only one of them. Because of the travelling distances in the region, caves south of Margaret river (Lake, Jewel & Mammoth) are generally avoided. Especially if the full Busselton Jetty/Underwater observatory tour is included in the day.Time simply doesnt allow for Jetty & Cave tours together. A very brief photo stop at the Busselton Jetty is an option if Jewel, Lake OR Mammoth cave are of interest.
One of the Margaret river regions many stunning coastline options - Canal Rocks boardwalk takes you over rushing tidal, incredibly deep blue waters. The entire coastline offers breathtaking beaches & dramatic rock faces.
The oldest winery in the region. An excellent cellar and restaurant. Lunch and tastings can take up to 2 hours so please consider if this is a highlight, a brief stop or if you dont drink - not a stop at all!.... There are many other excellent wineries in the region. If wine is your only focus you can expect to visit 4 - 6 wineries on this day tour. Contact me to discuss this option specifically.
Locally known as "Cowie" or "Cowtown" this kooky little town holds an impressive Guiness World Book of Records for the most number of people wearing Cow Onesies....Excellent Chocolate stop at Temper Temper.
Margaret river is a town, a river & a region. This tour focuses on a triangle between Busselton, Cape Naturaliste & Margaret river. With over 140 Cellar doors in the region its the wine that people know Margaret river for but there is so much more than just the township and the viticulture. Amazing diversity in landscape and coastline is also a highlight with dazzling beaches and beautiful forest drives. Little townships with their own unique appeal, chocolatiers, Nougat and wonderful food.

Enjoyable ,but average & over priced
Thanks Harry. Commissions on bookings through this platform are around 29%. Given rising fuel prices at the moment that makes it hard on small operators. Im glad you got to see all you wanted in the day.
Very flexible trip. Key is to give some thought in advance as to what you want to get out of the day.
Thanks Alan & Judith. Yes theres certainly a lot to choose from in a day. Was a pleasure to show you through the list we discussed. Safe Travels.
Booked and took an outstanding Margaret River wine tour with Peter. He is very friendly, interesting and accommodating. From the moment we booked on his website, his communication was prompt, clear and relevant. Not being familiar with the wineries in the area, he offered suggestions, then tailored those suggestions as he learned more about what we were interested in. He also set expectations on what we could expect to do given the distance from Perth. The day of he was on-time (early) to pick us up. As the day went on he further tailored our experience after seeing what we were enjoying and the pace we were progressing. He was accommodating and while he had a rough timeline/schedule laid out he was willing to deviate as he felt would enhance the experience. I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again for any Perth area tour. Well done!
Thanks Gentlemen it was a pleasure to work with a couple of dedicated, seasoned proffessional wine lovers. Congrats on taking out the record for S E V E N wineries in a tour. . . .nice work & thanks again.
My husband and I had two excellent tour days with Peter of Perth's Tiny Tours! Each day was customized to our interests, and we covered a lot of ground from Perth, including the two oceans, the Pinnacles desert, sand dunes, and Heirisson Island to see kangaroos! This is the way to do tours: Peter was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who delivers on what is planned, includes great stories related to the sights on the way, and we just loved our time seeing the beauty of Western Australia! On top of that, he's a great photographer! :D We are so grateful for his excellent communication (we planned this just from his website and text messages, from the eastern US) and super days. Thank you to Perth's Tiny Tours, we hope to see you again in the future!!
Thanks so much Ms & Mr R. Was a pleasure.
Fabulous tour to Margaret River with Perth Tiny Tours. Peter took us 'off the beaten track' to wonderful places. 10/10 once in a lifetime trip - very special and highly recommended.
We had an amazing time travelling with Peter. He was so flexible and accommodating to our requests, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. He showed us some really interesting places, and was always happy to stop so that we could have a closer look or feed the animals. Our two boys (aged 5 years and 2 years) had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a fun and educational travel experience.
HI guys Thank you so much for your lovely review thats so kind. It was a pleasure taking care of you all for those days and showing you quite a few things at a very relaxed pace. Take care Peter
Peter, our guide was very nice and friendly. He provided us with a lot of interesting knowledge of the places we went. He took us to a beach, a nice restaurant, the seaside and a lot of other interesting and fun places. The restaurant he took us to for lunch had delicious food. Our family had 2 children - my sister and I love the restaurant as it had a playground and delicious ice cream. My parents also enjoyed the restaurant as there was a place for wine tasting. Before lunch, Peter drove us to a beautiful beach. We had a lot of fun at the beach. It was a lovely thing to do as cool ocean water helped us cool down in the hot February weather!! It was constantly close to 40 degrees celsius almost daily. There chocolate store he took us to was also great as the chocolate there was so yummy. We also saw kangaroos and cows on the way, and we also saw a lot of beautiful sights. Overall it was an amazing day tour. My parents, my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip! The places Peter showed us were great and we wouldn’t have been able to explore these places without him taking us there. As a conclusion, I think the tour is a great eye opening experience for both kids and adults. I fully recommend this tour to people who wants to see and explore the Margaret river area. And I know my parents and my sister think the same way!
Thankyou guys - it was my pleasure - Im so pleased you enjoyed your holiday in Perth. Take care & safe travels, Peter
Peter Cope of Perths Tiny Tours runs a terrific one day private tour of the Margaret River area. It is a long and tiring day but well worth it for anyone who wants to see the area and only has one day to spend. We got to 2 good wineries, 2 gorgeous beaches, a great small town with some neat stores and we got to see some local art and a bunch of kangaroos. Peter is very experienced, a great driver and an energetic, knowledgeable and friendly guide.
Thanks guys so much for your lovely review. Im glad you enjoyed a taste of the region. Safer travels & best wishes. Peter
Peter is knowledgeable, clever and funny, so fun to travel with. He’s shown us interesting places which we otherwise wouldn’t have been to if we were to self-drive or with a large tour group. I like it that he’s flexible with guiding us based on the existing weather conditions and what each of us likes, stopping or detouring to take a closer look at animals etc. 100% recommend!
Thanks so much both of you, It was a pleasure. Peter
Peter, the guide, is fantastic! He is patient and has great local knowledge. We have absolute fun visiting Busselton, lighthouse and Ngigli cave, before our wine tasting. Wine is great, and the lunch platter is yummy! We truly enjoyed this Margaret River private trip. In fact, we have even booked 2 more trips from Peter : Perth / Fremantle and the Pinnacles.
Thanks See Guan, it was lovely to meet you all and show you a few places for a few days, & thankyou for your kind review. Safe Travels home, Peter
