We took the train from Bologna, 30 mins. to Modena and then caught the bus to Maranello, another 30 mins. which was purchased through Vivara Viaggi. The museum had a lot of beautiful cars on display, several simulators to try for a fee and a visitors' shop with the usual items displaying the Ferrari name. Very few seats for anyone with a walking problem (as was the case with my husband) and we were half way round before we realized the plastic cubes were the actual seats. To go to the cafeteria, it was necessary to exit the building, although it was attached. It was too small for the number of people visiting and understaffed. We went on the same bus back to the train station in Modena, same driver who was doing his best to go as fast as he could, both ways.
After our visit of the Museum “Enzo Ferrari”, we also have visited the “Galeria Ferrari” who is a museum dedicated to the Ferrari sports car marque. The museum is not only for cars; you will see during your visit also allot of trophies, photographs and other historical objects relating to the Italian motor racing industry. It is located just 300 m from the Ferrari factory in Ferrari's home town of Maranello, near Modena, Italy. The museum first opened in February 1990. As car lover a must to visit, we loved it, and are looking forward to see the other museums.
The display of cars was amazing. Many models from through out the years. I think a short video about the history of Ferrari would be a great addition.
For car enthusiasts best place to visit
..Ferrari everything that revolves around the Ferrari world, the museum is not the best, but what struck me are the costs, everything is paid .. only the use of the bathrooms is free (thank goodness)......
Nice building. But a very limited number of cars in the museum. Also a strange structure. Could be much better.
Fantastic I’ll will definitely invite my friends next time
It does not take very long to get around the museum. It's half a day at most. Gift shop as expected is very expensive.
Nice experience. I'd like more space to be devoted to the running team than just a room full of info and crowded
Pretty museum very clean nice exhibition of ferrari and car f1 as well as drivers with all explanations.
