Only did the one museum in Maranello and the teenagers did the driving simulation which they really liked. Museum is fantastic very well done with lots to see, with parking lot next to the entrance. Went to Lamborghini last fall and there is no comparison. Ferrari wins again, not even close.
The drive through the city and outskirts of the factory was great. The simulator was broke so didn't get to have that experience and was disappointed. Lunch was good, go hungry.
On January 22nd Together with my wife Nadia, we went to Maranello at the Rosso Maranello facility in via Dino Ferrari for a test drive on the road with Ferrari California and a test drive at the Formula 1 simulator. Given that it was a gift package to be enjoyed by December 31st 2025, but for personal reasons I could not do on time, I thank the structure that allowed me to use it by January 31st 2026. (a special thanks to Georgia for her kindness and availability, but after all all the team members with whom I related were very helpful and very nice, last but not least Andrea with whom I carried out the test drive on the road, who supported me professionally during the drive) What can I say, before the simulator and after the road test, it was a really nice experience that I highly recommend to everyone. To close this motoring experience we visited the Ferrari museum in Maranello which is very close to the structure and the next day the Ferrari museum in Modena, also really worth a visit. Thank you, everyone. Rocco and Nadia.
— The LivTours Team
Having all the reservations already made helps a lot in the organization. The drive included is 10 min but they have other options with longer time.
The Ferrari experience itself was good, however the way the experience was promoted on the Tripadvisor website was misleading. Firstly, our original booking was cancelled without any reason and we had to contact tour operator to find out what other days were available. Then after paying for 2 people for "The Full Day Maranello Ferrari Experience with Test Drive" (and race simulator), we find out on arrival that only one person was entitled to the test drive & simulator, even though we had paid the same price for both people. We then had to pay an additional Euro 140 for the second person to do both these things and it was the tour operator who included the additional simulator race for free after paying the additional fee. Frankly, it was very misleading the way this was promoted and Tripadvisor were dismissive when we spoke to them at the time and have ignored our request to refund the additional Euro 140 that we had to pay.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad the Ferrari experience itself was valuable, but we hear your frustration about the pricing clarity and the unexpected additional cost for the second participant's test drive and simulator access. You're right that this should have been clearer upfront—both in how we presented it and when confirming your booking. The cancellation and rebooking process added to the confusion, and we understand why you felt caught off guard on arrival. Please reach out to our team at guestcare@livtours.com with your booking details. We'd like to understand exactly what happened and discuss this with you directly. — The LivTours Team
Driving the Ferrari was the highlight of the day followed by going through the museum. Factory and track tour were good but limited in what you could see!
When we were in Maranello. We had a great time at the Ferrari museum. Could I have booked my self yes. Should I have done that yes. The tour was underwhelming. We drove around the exterior of the buildings inside. Could I have done with out it, yes. The lunch was extremely confusing and not explained well. We really couldn’t pick with we wanted Would I go back there, no. We could not find the balsamic factory. There was so much construction. So we never made it. Would I recommend the this, absolutely not. I was charged a substantial sum of money. Not worth it. I did drive the Ferrari, which was the highlight. (Done that before). The pricing was deceptive. Stay away. This is truly one of the 1st bad reviews that I ever gave. I normally try to find the positive.

We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the Ferrari museum and that driving the Ferrari was a highlight of your trip. It was an awesome event. Got to drive a Portofino for 30 minutes and that’s something I’ll remember the rest of my life. Pickup in Bologna was on time and well communicated from our hotel. We did the Museum tour first, followed by the driving experience, then the factory tour, then lunch, then the simulator. We were kept well informed of the activities and it was a great experience. Highly recommend.
the lunch was not good. everything else was great! enjoyed driving the car and the tour and museum. would recommend changing the lunch venue and menu.
Dear Sonia, Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour, the driving experience, and the museum visit. However, we sincerely apologize that the lunch did not meet your expectations. Your suggestion to change the lunch venue and menu is appreciated, and we will certainly consider this as we strive to enhance our guests' overall experience. However, the food accommodation is a separate service from us, and quality assurance in this aspect is out of our control. Thank you for your insights, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with an even better experience in the future!
Logistics: Well organized, easy to find, free parking, very friendly staff, English speaking. Experience: factory tour on a bus was OK. Museum was excellent. Gift shop has better selection and lower prices than museum. Driving a 488 was worth every penny - better than any roller coaster! Actually researched prices for one of my own, until reality of mortgaging our home to afford it became clear. While a 10 minute drive doesn’t sound like much, it was fun on the street (not track), and when Fabio said ‘now push’ and my gas pedal went to the floor - WOW. Acceleration to 185 km/hr and subsequent braking were phenomenal. I smiled for hours.
