Beware when booking that this tour has a minimum booking in order to take place! I booked the tour and was staying at a hotel not listed in their pick up list. I reached out through the trip advisor app the morning before to confirm pick up was available and heard nothing back. I then contacted the tour operator directly through WhatsApp and they responded that they were not running the tour due to low bookings! I received confirmation from trip advisor which tells me the operator did not set any minimums with them. I will now not be able to see the park since tomorrow is the only day I have available. Let's just hope I get refunded without too much trouble...terrible!
We went to Manuel Antonio park with Odyssey tour -beach is very nice but tour is overpriced and food is a very cheap option not a lot of choices even restaurant had good options but they won’t allow us to choose from , which was frustrating. Overall experience didn’t meet our expectations. Everything is overpriced
Tour guide was fantastic. Hazel was kind humorous and knowledgable. Would have liked to see more animals but the rain forest and beach were beautiful. Cafeteria took 40 minutes to just get an ice cream which was to bad as ate a lot of time from the beach which was only an hour.
Hazel was the best guide, went above & beyond to ensure our tour was the best! She found so many animals for us to see & experience. She is a top rate professional tour guide.
I was charged for this tour and I never went on this tour. after I booked it, the operator said that they didn't have anything available until the following day after I scheduled. I told him to cancel and give me a full refund and I was never refunded
My family and I booked a tour of Manuel Antonio National Park through Odyssey and were absolutely delighted. Our driver Michael is a pro. Safe, knowledgeable and kind. Our Guide Hazel provided us with incredible insights and was able to find the most amazing animals and plants throughout the park. During the trip from Playa Hermosa to The park, Hazel shared her knowledge of the country, its history, natural resources and culture. Hazel was the high point of our trip and we are grateful for the experience. 10/10!
Our tour guide, Hazel, was amazing. She took every opportunity to spot various animals, reptiles and other species in the rainforest for us. Her knowledge of the various plants and ecosystem was impressive. I was shocked at how close the white faced monkeys come to humans. Great learning experience.
