Itinerary
The Tour de la Paz begins in the mountains directly behind Jacó, and continues roughly half the distance to the peak of the mountain to a beautiful 35ft. waterfall (Cascada del Zorro) – a perfect spot to get a little wet and take some photos. Just beyond the crest of the mountain lies a beautiful mirador offering views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio Park, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas.
Continuing along the mountain tops and through the rainforest, you arrive at the second, incredible waterfall of your tour with us - the exciting Pura Vida waterfall. Surrounded by lush rainforest and crested by a natural rock platform, thrill-seeking adventurers may jump over 15 feet down into the crisp, refreshing waterfall pool below. The sounds of rushing water, coupled with the call of exotic birds combine to make this visit to the Pura Vida Falls a truly Costa Rican experience that you will remember for years to come. To end the tour, we ride the loop that takes us right to the edge of the famous Carara National Park, and then begin our decent back to Adventure Tours in Jaco.

Awesome trip would even do it again. The guide was awesome. Was a long course but extremely fun and interesting
Kiko was our guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy. Told us all about the flora and fauna we say along the way. We went to a local farm at the top of the mountain that served homemade empanadas and multi fruit smoothly. Both were excellent! Highly recommended!
This experience was so much fun! Keko, our guide, was very informative and each stop! He made the whole adventure that much better! Would highly recommend for some fun while you’re in Jaco!
This is an awesome experience!! Highly recommend!! Beautiful ride through the Jungle and challenging! Lots of fun! Highly recommend!
This was an incredible experience thanks to our tour guide, Chris!! It was my first time riding an ATV and he took me through the process and checked in on me several times to make sure I was doing okay. It wound up just being me and my two boys so it was essentially a private tour. My boys had a blast and they absolutely loved the views from the top of the mountain and being able to swim in Jaco Falls! We stopped at a delicious restaurant after our swim and had the best empanadas I’ve had in my life. Chris took photos and videos during the experience and shared them with us afterwards. It was by far the best excursion during our week in Costa Rica!
Our 2 guys Dennis and El Manuel (I think I’m not good with names) were awesome! Helped me out with some Spanish and what not. These guys were very outgoing to make sure we had fun, and they were very funny! Would recommend, they bring you to some cool spots.
Alonso was a fun & fantastic guide!!! He catered to the experience we wanted. We stopped at special view points & he made my son feel confident to jump into the mini waterfall pool. I even ended up going in to..."pura vida" He took great video & photos along the way too so we could really enjoy ourselves.
This excursion was planned for our annual friends trip. We thoroughly enjoyed this activity; the vistas and thrill level were exceptional. The course offered us panoramic views of the mountainside and ocean at the same time. Ascending the mountain trail was breathtaking, while descending the trail filled us with a mix of joy and fear.
This was one of our favorite things we did in Costa Rica. It’s so much fun, especially the natural pool! Definitely recommend and well worth the price
It was such a fun experience! The guides were amazing and very accommodating for our family. We had 6 people in total, including a 65 year old, and a 4 year old. They gave the option for the 65 year old to ride shotgun instead when they were not sure they could make it up the mountain, and it was a success! The waterfall was serene, only the 6 of us for about half an hour, before another couple showed up. One of the guides had picked super sweet and ripe mangoes for us to eat while there too.
