We'll explore the remarkable architecture, history, and spirituality of one of the largest marble Hindu temples in the United States and participate in a sacred image veneration ritual (Aarti). The tour also includes lunch and shopping opportunities at a unique ethnic market and gift store.
We'll explore the enchanting Hsi Lai Temple complex of the Order of Buddha's Light Mountain and experience dharma chanting at the main shrine, the Precious Hall of the Great Hero. The complex's museum houses one of the richest collections of Buddhist artifacts outside of China. Admire the gilded statue garden of Buddha's disciples, make a wish at the Pond of the Four Deva Kings, meditate at the hilltop pagoda, and enjoy a tranquil tea in a serene and joyful setting.

Amazing places that I never associated with LA … grand Hindu & Buddhist temples … unfolded before my unbelieving eyes as the day progressed. My most knowledgeable and caring guide, Von, made this all possible. He was skillful in transmitting pertinent facts in an enjoyable and, therefore, digestible manner.
