Great, budget friendly tour to the blue lagoon! My partner and I has a great time and the staff was super friendly!
There are many companies that offer outings to the Blue Lagoon but none can compare to Hornblower Cruises. Maybe because it's a family run business whose been in business for more than 50 years. They are exceptional and this trip was the highlight of my Maltese visit. Great value, professional in every aspect. I am so glad I choose them. If I had an extra day I would have booked it again.
This was an excellent way to experience the Blue Lagoon. The team on the Hornblower were excellent and there was a great selection of food and drinks to buy on board. The Blue Lagoon was beautiful with the opportunity to relax or enjoy the slide or jumping off the boat into the gorgeous blue waters. To top the trip off, the sunset was magnificent!

This cruise is a must! We have been to the Blue Lagoon before in the summer and it was awful so busy you couldn’t move or enjoy the water. This sunset cruise was beautiful and I assume given the time of year it was empty. The boat docks and you can jump off the boat or use the slide or just sit and relax on the boat and watch the sun go down. The staff are all lovely you can get food and drink on board. We especially loved the cocktails in pineapples! Added bonus for us was we see dolphins on our way back.

Absolutely unforgettable experience with Hornblower Cruises Malta! 🌅 The Sunset Cruise was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The views around Comino and the Blue Lagoon were breathtaking, especially during sunset when the water turns the most incredible shades of blue and gold. The crew were super friendly, professional and made the whole atmosphere really fun and relaxing. Special mention to Captain Kevin for the great commentary and music throughout the trip 🎶 The boat was clean, comfortable and well organised, with plenty of time for swimming and enjoying the lagoons. The cocktails served in pineapples were also amazing 🍍 Perfect mix of relaxation, sightseeing and fun without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Malta definitely worth it and we would do it again in a heartbeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Terrible we where there 30 minute ahead and there where no beds in the sun it was so cold the whole tour terrible! 1 star is even to much.
Thank you for your review. Just to clarify, the sunset cruise leaves at 17:15 so guests can experience the Blue Lagoon at a quieter time and enjoy the sunset around 18:40. That’s why it’s called a sunset cruise—it’s designed to avoid the hot midday sun. As for the deckchairs, they are first-come, first-served. Some guests arrive earlier to secure them, and boarding is done in the order of arrival. Arriving 30 minutes before departure doesn’t always guarantee front-row seating, especially when others arrive even earlier. We do our best to provide a unique and relaxing way to enjoy Comino and the sunset. We understand if this wasn’t what you expected, but many guests choose this trip exactly for those reasons—less heat, fewer crowds, and a chance to enjoy the lagoon in a different light.
Easy to find boat and very friendly staff. Commentary was informative and not too much. Activity catered to all ages. We went at sunset to avoid the crowds. We had plenty of time to swim. My boyfriend loved being able to jump off the boat (he spent about an hour doing this) and I went on the slide. We finished with a walk on Comino. Food was decently priced and drinks were great. Wonderful music playlist and beautiful views. We were able to look into some of the caves on the boat and a staff member offered to take pictures of us. Would definitely recommend!
