An enjoyable and informative walk with Noah. It gave a great sense of a bygone era of Jewish Montreal.
A really fascinating walk to learn about the third largest group in Montreal in the early 20th century (after French Catholics and English Protestants). The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answering our endless questions. In many cases she was able to point out (or encourage us to find) the subtle clues that point to Jewish history in repurposed buildings. She clearly loves the material and her city!
Wonderful guide Noah was a story weaver and history buff! Very interesting tour
Terrific knowledgeable guide who researches and had backup photos and news articles at each stop. Just terrific
Our guide, Noah, did an outstanding job. He is an excellent guide, teacher and historian. He has an excellent command of Montreal’s Jewish history, and is engaging, likable and enthusiastic. We have taken many urban walking tours - general and Jewish - and this was among the most enriching.
Our guide Sarah provided so much information about the area and how it has developed. She was incredible.!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, considerate, thorough and patient. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. She made the buildings come alive. Had we not done the tour we would have never looked at the area with depth and understanding she imparted on us. It was a very enriching experience. I highly recommend this tour.
Tonni was our guide and he was so knowledgeable so nice and so interesting. His level of caring was very high as he kept making sure at every stop we were all in the shade as it was a warm sunny day. The content was great as well,
We went on a walking tour with Sarah this morning . The tour was great .. really interesting and fun! Sarah was very knowledgeable and a great guide !
Our guide was great. He was a local college student who was very knowledgeable. He answered questions about a wide variety of Montreal culture and Jewish history. The sites were really interesting to hear about, although many are now different but you can see interesting remnants.
