Great time!

This was my first time horseback riding. I had a great experience and a great time. Jariel and Ariel were my tour guides and they were nice and funny. They also spoke English. They showed me a nice place in the country I was able to try coffee, fresh made wine, cigars and organic hot coco. I would definitely do it again.

Perfection! Great memories and very nice people!

Plan on a full day of pure relaxation and fun! Communicating via text before we even boarded the ship was easy with good instructions. We simply walked outside the cruise terminal and were immediately greeted by a man holding a sign with the tour name. Out of 5k people on the ship, we were the only two on this tour. He drove us just a few miles to the stables where we were greeted and saddled up! We toured the countryside with two guides riding on dirt roads and paths through the village where every single person we passed waved and welcomed us to their city. Just shout out “Hola!”, smile and wave and you’ll get the same in return! They took us to shops at the top of the small mountain so take some money to help the local economy. When we returned, they asked if we wanted to ride into the ocean, and we did for short while. When we returned to the van, the driver asked if we wanted to go to the beach. He introduced us to a gentleman who took care of us on the beach and he called him when we were ready to go back to the ship. We ordered fish and conch from the beach’s restaurant and it was delivered to us oceanside. The beach had mostly locals who drove in from the larger cities. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Be sure to bring cash for tips and tip generously. The locals live of $500-600 per month only on tourism. I met and spoke to a local family on the beach. Be kind and respectful and you’ll be given it back 10 fold! Learn a little Spanish before you go!
