After your breakfast, our English-Speaking Guide will meet you at your hotel around 09:00 am and you will travel south of town to the Kuang Si Waterfall.

Your first stop is the Living Crafts Centre, a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to preserving Laos’ rich textile traditions. Meet local artisans and watch skilled weavers at work using traditional looms then learn about the natural dyeing process, intricate patterns, and the cultural significance of Lao textiles. Your visit helps support local communities and sustain these time-honored crafts.

Embark on a picturesque drive through the countryside to reach the Kuang Si Waterfall, a multi-tiered natural wonder nestled in lush jungle surroundings. Along the way, enjoy glimpses of rural life, rice paddies, and forested hills. Upon arrival, take time to explore the cascading limestone tiers of the waterfall, which plunge hundreds of feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. Whether you choose to swim, wade, or simply relax by the water’s edge, the refreshing pools offer a perfect escape from the tropical heat. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towel!

Before leaving the waterfall area, visit the nearby Sun Bear Rescue Centre, operated by Free the Bears. You will learn about the conservation efforts to protect these endangered animals from poaching and illegal wildlife trade and observe rescued bears in a safe and educational environment, and discover how you can support their protection.

After a morning filled with cultural insights and natural beauty, begin your journey back to Luang Prabang.
