Guillaume was an excellent tour guide. He was informative, interesting ing and very friendly. He made our visit more enjoyable.
Jerome, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the artworks we saw, the history of The Louvre, and guiding us in the best route to see the highlights for a two hour tour. The Louvre was crowded, but Jerome knew where to go to reduce the congestion and still see the most important artworks. Getting a good photo of the Mona Lisa was almost impossible.
The small group tour (2 couples) was outstanding. In two hours we covered all the highlights in the Louvre. Our tour guide Maryam was excellent providing clear details with excellent commentary. We highly recommend this tour.
Monty made the experience so wonderful for us. It was our first time in Paris and we certainly didn’t want to miss visiting the Louvre. But we also understood that there was likely no way for us to see it all. Monty did such an amazing job distilling it down to a manageable amount of history, highlighting some of the most famous and iconic works. He was kind and patient and humorous in his delivery of the info. He also didn’t rush anything that our group appeared to want to explore further. The entry was smooth and seamless. He was generous with providing us with additional advice to enhance the remainder of our stay. Truly grateful for his experience and his time. He made our first visit to Paris a memorable one! My only issue, which had nothing to do with Monty, was the communication prior to the meet up. The DayIn company didn’t reach out with details of who our guide would be with perhaps a picture of the spot where we were to meet. The address was a bit confusing to us since we weren’t familiar with the area. So I spent a bit of time worrying we would miss our tour. Again, nothing to do with Monty. Hopefully this was just a glitch their process and isn’t a common issue. Despite this minor thing, we would still gladly use this tour group again.
When we met our Tour guide Monty and the other guests behind the Louvre, We quickly bonded with everyone and were ready to go .After a seamless run through ticketing and security, He provided us with audio sets with ear pieces and off we went …Monty was the perfect guide, his knowledge of every work of sculpture and painting was astounding not to mention the terrific little stories he had about particular pieces and also answered any questions that we might have had. We saw all the major pieces and couldn’t have been happier at the end of the tour, my wife and i would have no hesitation in recommending Monty to guide you through the Louvre. You wont regret it ..:..Thanks Monty - 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The whole experience was amazing. I was nervous and a little overwhelmed with the size of the Louvre, so I decided as a 1st trip to get the guided tour that was not too long for me kid as well. It was perfect and super private as it was just us and the guide. Wei, was very friendly and thorough. Overall best tour guide experience we have had.
Without Pilou's guidance, I wouldn't have been able to see as many of the paintings I wanted to see. It was hot and crowded, as the Louvre probably always is in June, so getting lost would've greatly reduced my enjoyment of the museum. Thanks again!
Hugo was very knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to spend 2 hours with!
Wei was our tour guide and he was great! He was very knowledgeable and helped us to see all the big sites along with some other great pieces. He was able to give us context and history, too. Would recommend this tour and Wei to everyone!
We liked our tour and the small group made it easy to move around the Louvre. Apparently, the museum made a new rule that you need to leave after your tour. I’m not sure how many people follow the rule? With that being said, I wish we looked at more pieces. Too much time- although it was interesting- spent on too few pieces. Hugo our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. I want to respect the art- but I’d like the tour to be a little more fast paced. Thank you.
Hi Kent, Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure how Hugo worded it, but you can linger inside the museum after the tour. The only thing that changed recently, is that any exit is final. You cannot re-enter after the tour, which was the case before. We also offer private tours, if you want the guide to adjust the pace to you. We can do custom requests if you want to see specific pieces for instance. Have a nice trip home!
