Head past the ramparts of Stirling Castle while your guide recounts the history of the Scottish Wars of Independence.
Our first stop of the day is in Callander, a quaint Scottish village where you can stretch your legs, buy a coffee and do some window-shopping.
Our tour takes us past Fort William and marks the end to the West Highland Way and home to Britain's highest mountain, the mighty Ben Nevis.
We then make our way to stunning Glencoe where your guide will recount the sad tale of the famous massacre of the MacDonald clan in 1692.
Stopping in the village of Fort Augustus on the banks of bonnie Loch Ness, you have free time where you can take to the Loch on a boat in the hunt for Nessie (not included, approx. 50 mins). If you’re not one for the water then why not take a walk up the canal and find a nice spot to enjoy a bite to eat.

Amazing tour we took on Sunday 4/6/25. Large, spacious coach bus promptly left on time at 7:30 am. The Scottish tour guide was friendly, entertaining, and informative. Brought us to beautiful scenic areas safely and cautious of our return time to bus. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the countryside of Scotland.

The Tour was incredible. Torva told a lot of historical stories, but also some funny little anecdotes. Scenery in Scotland is stunning and the stops were very well thought through. Highlight for everyone was the additional stop at the Highland Coos. Thank you Torva!

I took the one day Loch Ness tour, and had a great time. Our guide, Torva, was engaging and told us great stories throughout the drive. While we spent a lot of time on the bus, this was well communicated and totally worth it to try and find Nessie. The packed lunch was basic, but was nice to have. While we didn't get to find Nessie, Torva gave us an additional stop to feed some highland cows, which was unexpected and exciting!

A very significative experience. The tour is well structured and the tour guide (Torva) is real magnificent driver, storyteller and guide! With him the experience becomes amazing. Wonderful places with a storytelling full of interesting and funny facts. Very good music choices by Torva ;)

It was really nice tour, especially guides in Loch Ness cruise and from agency Cara (or Kara, I confuse 🙈) who was telling us a lot of history during almost 12 hours.
The Jacobite Steam and Scottish highlands adventure. Skip this one. A very long day just sitting on the bus while the tour guide drone on and on about some ancient Scottish history. Very gloomy. The guide didn’t have a good thing to say about Scotland! We spent hours on the bus - no wifi, no trash can, nothing to cheer about, just lots of rain. The Jacobite Train was the most disappointing. The view is stunning but you can get a better value for your money and time. Not a single stop to see the coos. On a positive note, the guide played some good music in the little time she stopped yapping about beheadings, witchcraft and some ancient royal spats. Like I’m on vacation to get a degree in Scottish gory history. Do better. For a trip this expensive, we didn’t appreciate all the gloom. Whatever happened to Scottish Shortbread, Single malt whiskey, golf, sheep and amazing clothing and not to forget Bag Pipes. Skip this one.
Hi, Thanks for the response. Sorry to hear the tour did meet your expectations. We sadly cannot control the weather and a lot of our history is gloomy and violent, due to events that took place in the past. Unfortunately, we are not in control of the running of the Jacobite steam train, so the journey is only operated as part of West Coast Railways. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in gloomy, gruesome and rainy Scotland. Thanks, Callum
