Smiley was a fantastic guide! Loved it! The grounds were amazing. There’s a lot of walking some of it uphill. Highly recommend.
Our Edinburgh Castle tour was outstanding! Our guide was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and an incredible storyteller. They brought the castle's history to life with fascinating details and stories that made every part of the tour memorable. I learned so much about the history of Edinburgh and Scotland, and the way everything was explained made it easy to follow and genuinely interesting. On top of that, the guide (James) was hilarious and kept the whole group entertained from start to finish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh
90 minutes full of engaging stories about the kings, the queens and the rebels of the castle! Amelie, our guide, was a powerhouse of enthusiasm and knowledge, and she led us to the top of the castle telling tales with unexpected twists and dramatic outcomes. It was so much more interesting to explore the different parts of the castle after learning the history. Don’ t miss it!
Our guide provided the historical perspective needed to understand the complex and rich history of the Edinburgh Castle!
I was prepared for a lot of walking on this tour, happily there was not as much as I thought! Very informative and entertaining, definitely recommend! Nice that the groups are not too big
Will was our Guide and he was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and made history fun to listen to which can be hard to do! I noticed a lot of the other Guides as well and was very impressed with the overall caliber of the tour. I highly recommend to anyone that’s in Edinburgh
Excellent tour!! Marty was the absolute best guide!! Full of information and humor!! So kind! Remembered everyone's name!! Great experience!!
I visited Edinburgh Castle on an unusually sunny day. Yet the real sunshine was definitely our amazing tour guide Amile (? spelled right) - she was so knowledgeable, funny and enthusiastic! Her stories were amazing and she had obviously done a lot of research rather than repeat stuff from a script. The Castle itself is fascinating with all the history and fantastic exhibits. Allow at least 2 more hours after the guided tour.
This is a “must do” activity when visiting the beautiful city of Edinburgh and Laura is the BEST tour guide! She is friendly, very knowledgeable and funny!
You learn a lot about Scotland history and get to explore the buildings after the tour. It was a great experience and our tour guide was happy, upbeat and funny!
