Description

Leave Lisbon’s steep hills behind and reclaim the joy of sightseeing! Our electric bike tour offers the perfect blend of iconic history, panoramic views, and effortless riding. While other tourists struggle with the city's famous inclines or get stuck in crowded buses, you’ll be gliding peacefully along the scenic Tagus River on our top-tier e-bikes. We’ve carefully designed a route that is 100% flat and safe, utilizing riverside bike paths far from the city noise. You’ll enjoy a front-row seat to the 25 de Abril Bridge and the lively docks, feeling the Atlantic breeze as the e-bike does all the hard work for you. It’s the ideal choice for families, groups, and beginners. A strategic stop for the original "Pastéis de Belém"—the world-famous, authentic custard tarts. We believe history should be tasted, not just seen! From the UNESCO-listed Jerónimos Monastery to the Tower of Belém, we bring Portugal’s maritime golden age to life in a fun, sustainable, and delicious way.

The Perfect Private E-Bike Tour in Lisbon

We had a three-hour bike tour scheduled, and when we arrived, we realized it was a private tour, just my companion and me, which was a very pleasant surprise. Our tour took us to the town of Belém, and our guide, Xavier, grew up there, so his knowledge of the area was incredible. We saw so many places, and if you’re going to explore Lisbon by bike, the e-bikes are absolutely the way to go. There happened to be a marathon taking place that day, but thanks to Xavier’s deep familiarity with the area, even the detours we had to take turned into interesting parts of the experience. The highlight of the tour was stopping for Pastéis de Belém, without having to wait in the long line. Xavier is so well known that he even left with an extra pastry for his mom. His personal stories and life history were just as engaging as the tour itself. Coming from Baltimore, it was fascinating to see how similar Belém felt to a port town like home, especially seeing the old power plant transformed into part of the MAAT Museum, it was strikingly familiar. The tour was the perfect length, and even the area where Lisboa Autêntica is located is charming, with benches and orange trees out front. This experience was informative, personal, and truly memorable. Highly recommended.

Our guide Jorge was excellent and helpful. We would have preferred a little less lecture time and a little more riding time. The trip did not last the full 3 hours.

We loved our bike tour with Eliseu, it is a great guide!

A very varied walk with a passionate guide, we made the walk two adults and a child, in impeccable French.

So fun!

We had such a great day on this bike tour with Xavier. He was a fabulous guide and so knowledgeable. We learned a lot while having so much fun riding the e-bikes. I was a bit nervous about getting out of the busy city center to the river paths but it was so easy! Lisbon is definitely more bike friendly than many cities. Once we were at the river it was a lovely ride on a bike trail with not too many people around to worry about. I haven't biked in a while but the e-bikes were fabulous, so easy. They allowed us to cover a lot of ground and see so much. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a different way to see the area. It was one of our favorite days.

Exploring Lisbon the Local Way – Thanks to George!

We had an amazing time on our bike tour of Belém and Lisbon! The whole experience was a fantastic way to see the city, and our guide George truly made it unforgettable. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about Lisbon’s history and culture. One of the highlights was an unexpected detour — there was a Corpus Christi procession happening in town, and George quickly rerouted us through a back way that only a true local would know. It was a crazy steep climb, but well worth it for the unique perspective and quiet streets. It really added a special, off-the-beaten-path element to the day! The tour was well-paced, full of interesting stops, and George made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Lisbon in an active and authentic way!
