Itinerary
One of the finest tourist attractions of Portugal and exemplifies the 19th century Romanticism style of architecture. The palace is a hedonistic mix of vividly painted terraces, decorative battlements, and mythological statues, all of which stand in stark contrast to the lush greens of the forests that encircle Pena.
Before going to Cascais we going to visit the westernmost site of Continental Europe where you can feel the unforgettable Atlantic Ocean breeze.
The Boca do Inferno is an interesting cliff formation close to Cascais, which has been given an overly dramatic name of Hell’s Mouth. The ceaseless pounding of the Atlantic Ocean on the cliffs chiseled out a small cave, which subsequently collapsed forming a small bay and natural arch.
Here will find out more about the age of Discoveries. The golden age in Portuguese history. Monument was built in 1940 to honor the historical figures involved in the Portuguese Discoveries.
Here we going to take a look at the World Heritage monument we going to visit the beautiful church Santa Maria to admire the unique Portuguese architecture style Manuelino.
Time to visit the Belem Quarter, the monumental area dedicated to the great Portuguese seafarers of the 15th and 16th-centuries. Here you will visit the Tower of Belem (the symbol of Lisbon), the monastery of St. Gerome (Mosteiro dos Jeronimos), a masterpiece of Portuguese 16th-century architecture and a World Heritage-listed monument by UNESCO, and the monument to the Discoveries.
We going to pass the main avenue of Lisbon.

Tour was fantastic! But what really made it so, was our guide - Carina Ferreirinha. She had so much local knowledge and historical knowledge - not just on the specific sites, but Lisboa and Portugal in general. so easy to talk to and be with. Took very specific note of our particular interests and personalities and tailored our time and tour accordingly. Went above and beyond in all respects. Great tour, Penã was incredible, Cabo dò Roca was stunning and the entire day was to be remembered. Do know - it is a lot of walking on some very uneven surfaces. Well worth it if that’s not an issue. Carina was the best.
Just finished a full day tour with Bruno to Sintra, Cabo de Roca and Cascais. The weather was bad but we had a great trip anyway - we were able to modify the itinerary to a more suitable plan. Bruno was wonderful as a guide.
Private tour of Sintra Cano de roca Boca de Inferno with NouNou, I hope I spelled the name correctly. Excellent Italian excellent knowledge of the history of Portugal and the places visited. Friendly and patient with the whole family. Perfect choice, also great the restaurant in Cascais where he took us. Everything perfect thanks again
The conductor was very careful, attentive, cheerful and accurate in his narratives. At all times guided us with great willingness.
We had a long layover in Lisbon and decided to make the most of it by booking a tour of Pena Palace & Lisbon. Antonio was an awesome guide and we learned so much about this beautiful city. Thank you!
Thank you 🙏
We had an amazing time in this tour with unbelievable tour guide Antonio. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain history behind every place we visited. I highly Recommend this tour and this tour guide.
Dear Yelena_P! We appreciate your time taken to provide feedback. We will certainly recognize our top-performing Guides.
Despite very foggy weather our guide Manuel did everything he could to make our day memorable, adding personal touches with some unique stops and information was much appreciated. His knowledge about Portugual was impressive and we loved hearing all the history behind the sites visited. He gave us more than enough time in each stop, making sure our group was not rushed and that we got to see and do everything planned. We got about 1.5-2 hours at Pena palace and toured both inside and out. We got to explore devil's mouth, cascais and cabo da roca at a nice pace. I really enjoyed this this tour!
Thank you!
Fantastic trip - Miguel was extremely informative and highly professional and made the day, despite disappointing weather just perfect. It would be helpful for the drivers to have microphones as sometimes it was difficult to hear the commentary. Also customers could be advised to wear something warm as it was quite cold at Pena Palace. An umbrella would have been helpful.
Thank you!
Just finished the tour and it was so great, our tour guide Igor was very informative and nice, learned so much about the history of portugal and the places we went to. Great job Igor!🤗
Thank you!
This tour was fantastic. Antonio met us at our hotel exactly on time and was extremely professional. He spent the day with us (until 4 pm) showing us all the highlights of this beautiful city and explaining its rich history. We had know idea there was so much to experience and understand about Lisbon. We would highly recommend Go2Lisbon and ask for Antonio.
We appreciate your time, James F. All feedbacks are of a great importance to us.
