A great first full day in South Africa. Jason was the most brilliant driver/guide and was so helpful and supportive during the day (even joining in with the drums at Lesedi!) The day started at Lion park which is safari park rather than a reserve. I am glad we did this before venturing out into the larger game reserves. However, this did give an opportunity for us to see the cheetah, white lions and the wild dog which we did not manage to view in the game reserves after. Lesedi Cultural Village was very much a tourist location, however, it was good to listen to (and see) the traditional tribal cultures that are now essentially being lost over time. Definitely recommended.
Thank you so much for this lovely review! I’m thrilled your first full day in South Africa was memorable — it was a pleasure guiding you, joining in on the drums at Lesedi, and helping you spot cheetah, white lions and wild dog at Lion Park. I’m glad the visit to Lesedi gave you insight into traditional cultures. Thanks for the recommendation — hope to welcome you back for more adventures soon.
