Itinerary
Our first stop will be the charming Love Park, a romantic spot inaugurated in 1993. Its centerpiece, “The Kiss”, a beautiful work by renowned artist Víctor Delfín, portrays two lovers sharing an endless embrace — a true symbol of passion and connection in Lima.
We continue to Huaca Pucllana, an extraordinary pre-Inca archaeological site dating back to 200–700 A.D. This adobe pyramid was an important religious and political complex for the Lima civilization. Please note that the visit is panoramic — we observe the site from the outside only.
Our next stop is the Olive Park, a serene green space that preserves hundreds of olive trees planted centuries ago. Here, you’ll also find exhibits of traditional olive oil machinery, as well as a peaceful pond with fish and turtles, creating the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature.
Our next stop is Barranco, the city’s most colorful and artistic area, where every wall tells a story through its beautiful murals and street art. Experience its trendy, bohemian vibe, and take a moment to make a wish at the Bridge of Sighs, one of Lima’s most romantic landmarks. LUNCH: at midday there will be a break of 1 hour 30 minutes so you can have lunch. We will recommend you some good local restaurants.
In the second part of the tour, we’ll visit San Martín Square, built in the early 1900s to commemorate 100 years of Peru’s independence. Surrounded by elegant neoclassical buildings, this plaza stands as one of Lima’s most beautiful landmarks and a symbol of the city’s architectural splendor.
Then, we’ll head to Lima’s Main Square, the most iconic and historically significant plaza in Peru. Here, you’ll admire remarkable landmarks such as the Presidential Palace, the City Hall of Lima, the Cathedral, and the elegant Archbishop’s Palace, all showcasing the grandeur of Lima’s colonial architecture.
Finally, we’ll visit one of the most fascinating museums in downtown Lima, where your expert guide will share insights into the rich history of Peru’s capital. The highlight of this visit is exploring the underground catacombs, an impressive network of tunnels and chambers that reveal a captivating glimpse into Lima’s colonial past.

Pick up and drop off are only included from: Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro or Lima Center. If you are staying outside of these areas, we will provide you a meeting point in Miraflores district to start the tour. No airport or Port (Callao area) pick up/drop off included. Last Minute Bookings or changes: Please, if you book last minute it is important to contact us after your reservation is done so we can be notified on time.

We had a great day out with Sandy. She was so kind and informative. We walked the Barranco area, saw lots of cool murals and local art, strolled through beautiful parks, learned a lot about the history of Peru and got to see a beautiful corner of this sprawling metropolis. The tour is valid for the morning part in the old town while the afternoon part of Barranco absolutely without any added value.

A super interesting tour. A super comfortable way to see all the neighborhoods of Lima that you have to see, they take you with the private van in a super small group and explain all the beautiful places in the area. Sandy is super nice and makes the tour super enjoyable and interesting. It also helps a lot with tips for your stay in Peru. I recommend 100%.

I use a lot of tours with a guide all over the world. Alexandra is the best tour guide I have ever had. She is very friendly, kind and has excellent conversation skills. Her attention to details is impeccable. She is the only tour guide with whom I honestly retained all the information that she shared. I wish I had more trips with her is Peru. Jimmy - our driver was very good and a safe driver. The tour itinerary is good. We were not rushed, had ample time to see places and have questions. It was small group of 5 which was amazing!

Lima Highlights Tours provided an exceptional full day tour of Lima. We were short on time and this tour hit the main areas to see. Our guide, Martin, was professional and very knowledgeable about Lima and Peru. A great way to get introduced to Lima and Peru. A van picked us up and dropped us off at your hotel, which was nice as Lima's traffic is hectic.
