AAA Professional Service!!! The booking was very simple and easy to coordinate a tour one day prior. The booking coordinator was very helpful by providing specific details of what the cost included and keeping to the time schedule. There were no surprises or unexpected issues with the tour. We all enjoyed it and would definitely use Africa Moja Tours. Outstanding service! Keep up the great work.
SELLO Was The Best He Was Really Phenomenal This Was The Greatest Tour Ever You Could Have Had Anyone Better Than SELLO !!!!!!!
Great surprise! I did not expect such a rich cultural experience. I was fascinated by this culture so diverse and exciting. In the end, a typical African lunch. It will stay in my memory forever!
Touroperator from Viator. I had the luck to have Pastor and he is a friendly, knowledgable and trusted guy and I booked the half day tour to Lesedi cultural village. The tour was ok to get a short impression of and stories from Pastor all in all was perfect. Luch buffet ok considering the quality, but nothing good and included in the package. Whenever possible I would repeat the travel with Pastor to another place
Thank you for using Africa Moja Tours and we are glad we met your expectations. Regards, Africa Moja Tours Team.
The tour begins with a presentation at the amphitheater with the display of video on the origins of African peoples and explanations from a guide characterized as native. Afterwards, we are invited to take a tour of various scenarios that represented the various tribes that originated Africa, where tourists have the opportunity to taste typical foods, such as, for example, a rice bowl and a bowl of rice with larvae hahahaha Not everyone had the courage to try. At the end of the tour, we are taken to another amphitheater to watch performances of tribal songs and dances with various artists. Very good! There are restaurants on site, but with salty prices! There are also many stores on site selling souvenirs, however, all very expensive! On the negative, we highlight the value of entrance to the Cultural Village. There is no fixed price and the impression that remains is that they charge a value according to the face of the tourist, combined with the companies/guides that take the tourist to the place. When we arrived we were charged a very high price, but since we had already done a previous search with a lower value, we negotiated with the ticketholder and he accepted the lower value. Plus, it's a walk that's worth it!
We enjoyed our visit to Lesedi village. This tour was however too expensive as the tour company just drove us to and from the village, paid the entrance fees (a small fraction of what the tour costs) took us to buy snacks that were inexpensive and nothing more. Would suggest that anyone visiting should pick a cab, pay the entrance fees and save yourself your cash.
With a day to get over jet lag before starting Safari, a group of us did the afternoon tour and dinner at Lesedi Cultural Village. The guide was enthusiastic and the food was OK. On balance, we were all glad we went, but it is overall of average quality as an attraction.
Hello Phillip, Thank you for the feedback on Lesedi Cultural Village as an attraction. We have since passed these message to them and they promised to improve the cultural experience Regards, David Africa Moja Tours & Transfers
I saw a girl sitting at entrance quiet with her mom. I was enquiring about jewellery. When she later on was introduced in the group as tour guide, I was amazed with her narration style, story telling, presence of mind and sense of humour. She took us around 5 cultures of Africa but more than that what touched me is how she included everybody from the group in her conversations / interaction. Later on I insisted on wearing a Zulu dress like her and get photographed, she did ensure that I did get one. Dances were amazing, food was awesome and most important people who present this are the best. I came back with loads of good memories and longing to go back to Arfica.

Rather expensive for what it was no food included. This was not a full day tour The tour was approx. 1 hour the dancing less than 30 mins plus an hour and a bit travel each way A lot of time just hanging around the shopping area. The tour itself was very interesting with a fun guide and the dancing amazing, but we didn't feel this was good value for money compared with other tours we did around J'burg. You could probably do better to organise yourself and just pay for a taxi and entrance fees separately.

This is a must to better understand the village influences on South African culture.
