Itinerary
The guide will explain the square and the history about the Bargello - the early prisons in Florence. Piazza San Firenze is a charming square in the historic center of Florence, located just steps from Piazza della Signoria. It is framed by elegant Baroque architecture, including the twin façades of the Church and former convent of San Filippo Neri. The square is also home to the Bargello Museum and the historic Palazzo Gondi. Though often less crowded, Piazza San Firenze offers a quiet atmosphere and a glimpse into the layered history of the city.
Talk about Fra' Savonarola and its dead at the stake. Piazza della Signoria is one of Florence’s most iconic and historic squares, serving as the city’s political heart since the Middle Ages. Dominated by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio, the square is an open-air museum filled with Renaissance masterpieces, including a replica of Michelangelo’s David, the Fountain of Neptune, and statues under the Loggia dei Lanzi. Surrounded by historic buildings and vibrant cafés, Piazza della Signoria is a must-visit for anyone exploring the artistic and civic legacy of Florence.
Cross the Ponte Vecchio and admire the city and the river Arno by night. Ponte Vecchio is Florence’s oldest and most famous bridge, dating back to the 14th century. Lined with historic jewelry shops, it spans the Arno River with a unique, picturesque charm. Above the shops runs the Vasari Corridor, once used by the Medici to cross the city in private.
Admire the square and talk about Bianca Cappello. Palazzo Pitti is a grand Renaissance palace in Florence, originally built for the wealthy banker Luca Pitti and later acquired by the Medici family. It became their main residence and now houses several museums, including the Palatine Gallery with masterpieces by Raphael and Titian. Behind the palace stretch the famous Boboli Gardens, a model of Italian garden design.
Stop for some informations about Pazzi Family, the conspiracy and murder of Giuliano Medici inside the Cathedral. Piazza del Duomo is the monumental heart of Florence, home to the city’s most iconic landmarks. It features the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi’s stunning dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni. Rich in history and architectural beauty, the square is a vibrant symbol of Florence’s artistic and spiritual heritage.
Discover the history behind the Column of Justice. Via de’ Tornabuoni is one of Florence’s most elegant and luxurious streets, known for its high-end fashion boutiques and historic charm. Lined with Renaissance palaces, it hosts iconic brands like Gucci, Prada, and Ferragamo. More than a shopping destination, it’s a stylish stroll through Florence’s aristocratic past.
Discover the origin of the famous wine windows. Finestra delle Belle Donne is a small, charming street in the historic center of Florence, located near Via Tornabuoni. Its evocative name dates back to the past and, according to some interpretations, may refer to a window from which, in medieval or Renaissance times, young women would look out and be admired by passersby. Today, it is a quiet and picturesque lane that retains the discreet charm of old Florence, surrounded by historic buildings and hidden corners waiting to be discovered.
Visit the "Church of Dante Alighieri", where the legendary poet first met his beloved Beatrice. The Church of Santa Margherita dei Cerchi is a small Romanesque church in the heart of Florence, dating back to the 11th century. Closely linked to Dante Alighieri, it is believed to be where he married Gemma Donati and where he may have first seen Beatrice Portinari. Today, visitors leave love notes near Beatrice’s symbolic tomb, making it a quiet and romantic stop for literature and history lovers.

We did the Architecture and Sculptures at Night walking tour on our first day in Florence and it was the perfect introduction to the city. Our guide was excellent—extremely informative, engaging, and with a wonderful sense of humor that kept the whole group entertained. The nighttime setting made the architecture and sculptures feel even more magical, and the tour highlighted several areas we wanted to return to during the day. A fantastic way to start exploring Florence!
Dear Guest, thank you kindly for your beautiful review. It’s wonderful to know that your first evening in Florence was filled with art, history, and a bit of magic. The nighttime setting does create a special atmosphere, and we're thrilled your guide helped bring the city to life through their stories and humor. We hope the tour sparked many more discoveries during your visit, and that Florence stays with you long after you’ve returned home. Warm regards, ACCORD Team
This was a very small group, which was great because it felt like a private tour. Our guide was so nice and informative. We hit the major stops and it was great to get a sense of the major Florence landmarks at night. Very enjoyable and highly recommend!

Oksanna provided a very informative and entertaining walk through Florence and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Hi Robert, thank you for your kind words, we are glad that you enjoyed our tour. We'll make sure to let Oksana know that you liked her explanations and her insights. Kind regards, ACCORD Team
We were the only two on the tour, so that was a bonus. We loved our guide. She’s very passionate and proud about her city, and she was able to have conversations about the architecture and history. We could not have done better!
Giacomo was a fantastic guide. His knowledge and stories of Florence were impeccable. I loved how he pointed out sculptures that even natives of the city may not realize are there. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend to anyone who wants a history of the city. It was also great to do in the tour at night...streets are not busy!
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure serving you and your partner. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and being so open with us. We try to select the best guides and yours was definitely one of them!!! We hope you'll come and see us again soon! Best regards, ACCORD Team
We already knew Florence and we chose this tour to experience the city in its hidden and less conventional corners and we were not disappointed. Our guide Giacomo turned out to be an expert connoisseur of the city, as well as nice and friendly. Tonight my partner and I were the only participants and Giacomo answered all our questions very well and modulated the route according to our requests, lengthening the tour by about an hour and a half compared to the two scheduled. We are excited and it is an experience we recommend to everyone!
The guide was really nice and clearly passionate about the history of Florence. However, this definitely wasn't the tour we expected. It was advertised as including ghost stories. That didn't happen. It was a strictly historical tour that mainly revolved around statues and monuments around town. The information was very dry and not particularly interesting or different than what we'd learn by reading the information near the landmarks. We wanted to ditch the tour about 30 minutes into it but didn't want to be rude. Our kids loved the ghost night tour we did in Rome but were utterly bored throughout this one.
Dear Guest, we would like to thank you for your review because the feedbacks of our clients are really useful to improve our services. We are really sorry that the experience you had was different from your expectations. Every city has is own peculiarities and Florence has a bit to tell about ghosts, but a lot about legends. Andrea is one of our best guides and surely he did his best to catch your attention. We hope you would like to further explore the interesting anedoctes of Florence and we will be really glad to see you soon in our beautiful city!. Best regards, ACCORD Team
The title was very misleading. It was just a regular walking tour of the city, but during the evening hours. If was very factual/historical and the stories were the same you get during any tour and nothing “legendary” or anything out of the ordinary. Our teenage kids were bored after 30 minutes as they expected some interesting tales vs the typical historical tours. While our guide was nice, he spoke very softly and unless you were one of the two people flanking him you couldn’t hear him talk over the background noise. A microphone and ear piece would have helped. Fairly disappointing, but mostly due to the misleading title and description.
Dear guest, we would like to thank you for your review because the feedbacks of our customers are important to improve our services. Florence is not really a city which offers plenty of misteries and ghost stories like other european cities, instead most of its legends are related to historical facts and events. Your guide Andrea is one of our best guides and we agree that he has a soft and calm tone of voice, but, in this case, this peculiar feature really fits the twilight atmosphere of the tour. We hope you would like to further explore the interesting anedoctes of Florence and we will be really glad to see you soon in our beautiful city!.
Fun facts, interesting stories and a lovely walk through Florence in the evening. Very knowledgeable guide, full of antidotes about Florence. We walked on both sides of the Arno and I saw areas of Florence that I had never seen before. Placed a coin in the mouth of the pig and had it drop through the grate, making my wish come true. If you aren’t familiar with the pig, this tour is for you.
Thanks for the awesome review! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and we’re happy to hear we hit the mark for you. The Legends of Florence walking tour is really super interesting, it lets you discover new facts about the city and its history! Come back and see us soon. Cheers!
Wonderful tour your guide takes you on a journey to the oftentimes missed and hidden histories and urban myths of Florence!
