Great experience, Gaston was a very helpful instructor with great tips to get me up and riding waves. I rented a board after and he let me join the other class for free.my wife came along to watch and they let her borrow an umbrella to keep her shaded while I took the class. They were nice enough to let us use the umbrella while I rented the board for four hours and bring it back. I have taken another lesson when I was in Florida and this Was a much better experience. Would 100% recommend and do it again!

The teaching was good and competent. Great that we were only two participants on the team. However, I was only out on the water for an hour and not the 1.5 hours, as stated. However, I did not learn to surf if the criterion is that I should be able to go out on my own and do it. But fun experience despite a bloody nose 😉
My niece (16 yo) had a surf lesson here. The tutor, Gaston, was great, and my niece was a natural. Perfect combination! The rest of us also enjoyed watching this great experience!

Fabian was a fantastic instructor!!!! For one, I felt safe. He is a lifeguard and was giving safety advice to other tourists like where to watch for currents. Secondly, he is a professional surfer and really knows his stuff. BUT he was so humble and patient made instructions very easy to follow. Thirdly, he stared advancing my skills little by little to get me ready to catch waves myself. And lastly, he put me in the perfect waves to catch and I got up many more times than I have in the past. It was a blast!

My "beginner's lesson" was a complete joke. There were at least 15 people in my group with only two instructors. We spent a rushed 5 minutes on the sand learning to pop up, then were immediately herded into rough, crowded water. The instructors paid almost no individual attention. I was left struggling with my heavy, worn-out board, swallowed what felt like half the ocean, and received zero helpful correction. The entire "lesson" felt like a dangerous, unsupervised free-for-all. The only priority was clearly to cycle through as many tourists as possible. The equipment was battered and the leash was frayed. I came out of the water feeling frustrated, exhausted, and completely ripped off. Do not waste your money or risk your safety here. This isn't a surf school; it's a negligent assembly line.
This review does not reflect a lesson run by 360 Surf School Cancun. We would never place 15 students with 2 instructors, as that would not meet our operating standards or safety expectations. Our group lessons are capped at 6 people, and we have been teaching for over 25 years with a strong focus on structure, supervision, and client care. We do not run overcrowded lessons or high-volume sessions, and the details described here are inconsistent with how our surf school operates. For that reason, we believe this review was posted on the wrong listing. Our long record of guest feedback reflects the level of attention and care we provide.
Had a great time with my son! We had a Great instructor And a great experience all around! Would definitely recommend. It was our first time ever and we got up many times.

This lesson was excellent! I have never surfed before and I was really nervous. The guide teaches you how to pop up before you go out on the water. The water was ideal for learning to surf! I highly recommend.

This was an awesome experience for my son who is 11! The instructor was great and helped him get up within the first 10 minutes. I got some great photos and my son keeps talking about wanting another lesson.
My three kids, ages 18, 16, 13, all took the beginner surf lesson. They actually learned a lot, and I was impressed with how they were standing on the board by the end of the hour. Instructors were helpful and kind! Would highly recommend!
