Here are some places your host may include along the way:
Begin at Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis Church, a striking example of early Baroque architecture in Paris. Built in the 17th century, it reflects the influence of the Jesuits and marks the historic entrance to Le Marais from Rue Saint-Antoine.
Continue to Place des Vosges, the oldest planned square in Paris, completed in 1612. Its symmetrical red-brick façades and arcades once housed nobility, and today it remains one of the most balanced and quietly elegant public spaces in the city.
Walk along Rue des Rosiers, the heart of the historic Jewish quarter. This street reflects layers of cultural identity, with traditional bakeries, long-standing delis, and small shops that have shaped the area’s character for generations.

We had a great tour with Elli! We walked the Marais area as Elli pointed out highlights and iconic places, buildings, and statues. She pointed out great places to eat and drink as well as educate us about the cultural make up and history of the area. My wife is a photographer. Elli knew this because of a questionnaire we filled out before we arrived in Paris. Elli also contacted us weeks before our arrival to find out what we wanted to do and see on this tour. She took us to and pointed out places that would be great to photograph and patiently waited until we finished taking photos. Elli is very knowledgeable and educated but very easy to talk to and communicate with . Because of Elli we absolutely got the maximum value from this tour!
