Island Hopping is probably the most popular boat tour in Langkawi and the standard join tour starts at 9.00AM in the morning or 2PM in the Afternoon and lasts for 3.5 to 4 hours including hotel transfers (please select the correct pickup area during booking). Itinerary
Meet and greet the driver at the Cruise Terminal or Langkawi hotel lobby (As per your package choose) around 0830 - 0900 hours in the morning or 1330 - 1400 hours in the afternoon for the pickup to the jetty. You should apply and carry enough sun block lotion to avoid sun burns and also carry bottles of drinking water. Once arrived at the jetty, you will be transferred to the boat and begin the Langkawi island hoping.
Our first stop (stop while still in the boat near the island only) is the eagle watching. The boatman will stop the engine and throw some chicken pieces out into the water to invite the eagles. And in no time you will see eagles diving down just next to you and clawing up the chicken pieces and eating them as they soar into the sky.
Next we proceed to Pulau Dayang Bunting which will take about 20 minutes to reach this fascinating island jetty. This is a wonderful scenic fresh water lake surrounded by mountains that are covered with dense forests. The lake was formed when a large underwater cave collapsed many years back. You will also see large limestone formations. From the lake if you look at the mountains at the fringes, you can clearly see an outline of a woman lying on her back who is 6-7 months pregnant, and thus the name of the lake. Having enjoyed Dayang Bunting island and the lake for about 40 minutes, you will walk back to the island jetty to get back to your boat.
Pulau Beras Basah is the last stop in the tour. You will get about one hour here. So after a tiring day under scorching sun, if you just want to lounge and relax, find one of the many shady trees and enjoy the views as the gentle breeze flows. Otherwise take a stroll along the old pier at the island.
After about an hour at Pulau Beras Basah, you will head back to the Jetty and then back to your hotel or cruise terminal.

Exceptional value. Orginized chaos at the jetty but got on a boat ok. Stopped at 2 locations. You have to pay at the first but usual low Malaysian prices
Very disappointed as no information about the walk on steep and irregular steps to the freshwater lake which was not very clean. Additionally when we stopped in the cafe at the end of the pier they tried to charge us £12 for 2 cans of Fanta !!!

The sea eagles experience is awesome. The pristine beaches are also a delight. Good afternoon on a speed boat
It was a great experience. The driver of the boat was really friendly and we had a great time seeing the islands
So the boat takes you to 3 places which literally has nothing! In the first island, a part of the water has been demarcated for children/ family to swim, in the second, you are taken to a mid point of the sea where the driver feeds the eagle ( yes, that's it) and in the third, you are given sometime to swim on the beach. It is an okay trip if you really have nothing to do in Langkawi but otherwise can be avoided. You won't miss anything!

fun half day - you will enjoy the experience! Pick up from hotel and visited 3 different Islands to Langkawi
The tour departs from Jetty Marble which is right in Kuah. The pick up was efficient and it is something nice to do if you want to get out of the resort.
Pickup was called at 2 p.m. After waiting 30 minutes I called where I was told I was not the only one!!! After another 20 minutes the driver came!!!! I was happy to give up. Total rip-off!

My mum and I went today at 9 am. Actually it was really good regarding the view and weather but one thing that killed the day was the boat. Not just our boat but in general the type of boats that drive you there is very bad and if someone is light in weight, he will be very tired after this day. The water is not clean to swim in, just like most Malaysia tbh. Alot of aggressive monkeys on both islands and they can hurt anyone who has a plastic bag or any sign of food. I actually don't recommend it at all.

The weeping lady lake was a nice hike, the dip i the water helped to deal with the humidity. The final beach stop was excellent
