Lake Vouliagmeni Thermal Spa And Temple Of Poseidon Tour

An unforgettable experience! Konstantinos was an amazing guide, teaching us about Greece and provides great recommendations. The lake and the temple were awesome, but Kostantinos made our trip special!

Great experience! Few things to add for travelers: Purchase tickets in advance for the lake, reservations are needed for cabanas etc. make those in significant advance. They were all taken on our day The temple of Poseidon is a separate ticket too. The food at the diner was good just be prepared there was no urgency. You can grab and go a simple menu there too. Overall it’s food for the money. If you’re wanting time at the lake, consider that trip alone.

My trip today with Miltos was the highlight of my entire trip to Athens, his English speaking skills were brilliant, and he taught me some Greek too! The entire trip from pick up, to drop off felt as safe and as comfortable as travelling with family. He was so kind, patient and shared his knowledge of mythology that had me appreciate the sites even more. The right guide can make or break your holiday, I got really lucky having him as my guide, an absolute star.

We went to a privet family tour with Xenofontas to voliagni lake and Poseidon temple . It was amazing, Xenofontas was professional and nice very funny we felt amazing.. we had a blast!!!

The good: The Temple of Poseidon is an incredible site. A quick walk around, but genuinely breathtaking, and worth the trip on its own. Our driver was friendly and efficient. At the lake, the fish are surprisingly cool and the surrounding facilities are quite nice. On the “thermal baths” billing: I’m not sure what the “thermal baths” label is all about..that reads like marketing to me. It’s really just a smelly lake. It does have high mineral content, so people claim it’s healing. My take? It mostly just makes your skin really soft. Worth knowing before you book: Most of your day is spent in the car, either driving or sitting in traffic. You end up with about an hour and a half at the lake and roughly an hour at the temple. Calling this a “tour” is mislabeling it completely. There’s no guide and no overview of either location. Entry isn’t included at either stop, so budget at least €20 extra per person per site. One suggestion for the operator: If you keep offering these two stops together, flip the order so do the temple first in the cooler morning hours, then the lake once it heats up. We were told the lake goes first because it gets so busy they’ll refuse entry later in the day, but it would’ve been far nicer to swim when it’s hot and walk the temple grounds when it’s cool.

The most pleasant day! Cristiano was a fantastic guide, historian, driver. We enjoyed our time learning from him. He took us to the Temple of Poseidon and Lake Vouliagmeni. The lake was amazing, beautiful and relaxing. Scenery along the drive and at the Temple was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Kupiakos was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was very kind and gave us good recommendations too. Lake Vouliagmeni was beautiful , it felt like an upscale beach club. It has changing rooms, clean bathrooms, showers, and a bar/coffee area. We enjoyed the lake very much. The Temple of Poseidon was a very far drive yet, very beautiful to see the seashore along the way. We did not pay to enter the Temple, price was too much. We took pictures and left after that. Overall the tour was interesting and relaxing.

We were looking to do something different while in Athens after spending several days doing the customary tourist things. Both stops were fun and spectacular, although we easily could have spent all day at Lake Vouliagmeni. Our driver was Miltos who was great and even recommended dinner options close to our hotel after drop off.

This was a great day trip from Athens and our guide Miltos was awesome! The lake was beautiful, very peaceful, and the water was perfect to swim! The temple offered incredible views and many opportunities to take pictures.

Nikos was amazing! Great driver, so friendly and informative! Would give him 10 stars if I could. The only thing I'll say to people looking to book is the listing says there will be snacks and water in the car ride and there was not. Food is very expensive at the spa and temple so I'd suggest bringing snacks and water with you!
