The 13th-century Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard perches above the lakeside village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard. The town of Saint-Jorioz has a popular beach. There are trails around the shore and pleasure boats dot the lake in summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Annecy. Our driver and guide, Constantino, was prompt, pleasant and communicated well in English. He offered choices for the schedule and advice on restaurants. We enjoyed the personalized experience of a group of 4, as opposed to being part of a group of dozens. The experience offered value for the cost.
The driver Nick was very accommodating polite very good knowledge of the tour and very punctual. We were a group of 8.Definitely recommend GVA.
Picked up on time in good quality transport but driver spoke no English and personal guide didn’t understand much english when we talked to her. No interaction on the way to Annecy and then dropped off a long way from the old town part we wanted to explore.
Thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Lake Annecy. What a gorgeous area in France. Loved all the waterways running through the town. We did paddle boating and took the cruise on the water. Had lunch in one of the outdoor restaurants and the food was good. Walked around the town and the lake. Great art exhibit currently going on all around the lake. The displays were fabulous. Lots of fun!!!! Our driver, Bekim, was the absolute best. He took us to a foot bridge on our way to Annecy which was amazing. He also made suggestions as to how to make the best use of our time in Annecy. Most impressive was that he talked to us and seemed to genuinely care that we had a good time Thanks Bekim for making this gray, overcast, slightly rainy day shine!!!
