This particular shore excursion will allow you to see Florence and Pisa all in one day. It is a rather long day, but 100% worth it. You start the day boarding a bus that will take you to Florence (1.5 hour ride), it is air conditioned and the tour guide (Martina) talked about the history of the area during the ride. Once you arrive in Florence, you will have two choices, go on your own or take the walking tour with the guide (recommended). We went on the walking tour. You will learn the history of Florence and visit all the important landmarks in the city. Florence is a beautiful place rich with history and culture. The city of artists, scholars, and forward thinkers. You will have plenty of time in Florence even after the walking tour to look around for yourself. Next, you board the bus again and off to Pisa. Pisa is a very small town and can be down in a relatively short amount of time. Of course, you have to see the leaning bell tower, once again, take the guided tour. I want to give a warm thanks to our guide Martina, who was excellent. She was charming and funny and very knowledgeable about the area. If you can ask for her, please do.

If you are 1 minute late because of the Cruise Tender situation this tour will leave you. The tour representative was very rude and refused to offer any assistance for an alternative tour.
We are sorry that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. However, the tour must follow a strict schedule, as we work with cruise ship passengers and returning on time is essential.
Our tour guide Mattia is great. The problem is, it takes almost 30 minutes go from the bus parking to the sightseeing site so a total of almost an hour is wasted. This should have been written or posted in the itinerary information. It was worst in Pisa. As much as we want to roam around we didn’t have time.

The meeting place was very easy and next to the cruise terminal and the duration was flexible for cruise passengers.( better to make sure of your boarding time before booking) . It’s so worth to explore efficiently in one day for two major cities and spots in Italy. Our guide, Alexander was a super knowledgeable and also made a lots of bright laugh like a comedian and gave the trip fun. He was very caring and responsible for each participant at all the time even though he took large people (all cruise passengers) in a crowded by other tourists in each stops. No one missing and went back safely to the ship. I appreciated he tried to best and response for my request. Thank you very much!
