La Fortuna Waterfall Hike
Description
To observe this splendid 70-meter-high waterfall, the visitor must overcome a path of approximately 530 steps, through a forest with trees native to the area, where the springs of our mountains and the waters of the Fortuna River emerge, originating in turn lush vegetation and scenic beauty. Once in front of the waterfall, you will find a large and comfortable viewpoint from which you can freeze your memories through unpublished and unique photographs, and finally you can take a refreshing swim in the crystalline waters of the Fortuna River.

We offer pickup from most hotels and vacation rentals within the La Fortuna area. If your accommodation is not listed, please contact us directly at least 24 hours before the tour. Pickup starts approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Please wait in the hotel lobby or at the main entrance of your accommodation.

We visited the Hanging Bridges and La Fortuna waterfall with Monica (tour guide) and Steven (driver) and finished up with a delicious lunch! The whole experience was amazing. Monica was an incredible tour guide - knowledgeable, upbeat, and lots of fun. Steven went above and beyond to stop when he saw parrots and a sloth so we could all experience it. Hanging bridges were easy for most but be prepared on the waterfall as it is 500 steep steps down then back up. Would definitely use North Adventires again!
