At 70 meters high, it’s one of the area’s most iconic sights. Swim in its crystal-clear waters or capture incredible photos of this natural wonder. After the hike, recharge with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, choosing from at least five options on our à la carte menu. Continue your adventure at the Arenal Hanging Bridges. Walk through the rainforest canopy and discover its rich biodiversity while crossing 15 hanging and stationary bridges that offer a unique perspective of the flora and fauna.

Itinerary
we start with 3.5 km (2 mi.) hike through trails of solidified volcanic lava and primary rainforest in El Silencio Reserve to reach the lookout, which is as close to the Arenal Volcano as you can safely reach. From there, the views of the Arenal Lagoon, the secondary rainforest, and areas devastated by ancient eruptions will be impressive.
Around 11:30 a.m. we will move on to the second point of interest. The 70m (230ft) high La Fortuna Waterfall is a breathtaking place, where you can take a refreshing swim or just photograph this magical waterfall and its splendid surrounding. Around 1:00 p.m., we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a restaurant near La Fortuna. Lunch will be served a la carte with at least 5 options to choose from.
around 2:30 p.m., we will make our way to the Hanging Bridges to walk along a trail through the rainforest and across bridges high above the treetops, to observe plants and animals from a different perspective. The 3.1 km (2 mi.) circuit trail includes 15 impressive hanging and stationary bridges.

So much fun! A lot of sight seeing. Got to see a sloth and variety of birds. Even with light rain still enjoyable.
The guide was great, but unfortunately the description was hard to understand what all was included. We thought the tour included the hot springs but once we met with our guide, he said that it did not.
This was an absolutely spectacular tour. We did the hanging bridges, waterfall and Arenal volcano. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Our group was small, which was very nice. We saw tons of wildlife! I would highly recommend this tour to anybody.
Bring a rain jacket umbrella or a poncho just in case. Bring your swimsuit and an extra pair of clothes.

Viator offered a 4-in-1 Tour: Bridges, Volcano, Waterfall. What we got was 2 stops: Bridges and Waterfall. The guide from Ecoterra was good for the Bridges tour in mistic park, but you don't need a guide for the waterfall. In the small print they claim the 4-in-1 tour is only Bridges and Waterfall: Wrong and worst tour description ever.
Our guide was wonderful. So nice, so funny and very interresting. We loved our day . He is very patient . He search always something to surprise us . Very smily and agréable .
Really fantastic experience. We were picked up from our hotel with door to door service. Our guide Cathy was extremely knowledgeable and great at picking out the animals on the trip and providing good history of the area. There are places to get changed for the waterfall section. The included "snack" is a 3 course lunch and very substantial, water bottle and snacks also included. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone it is very well organised and a truly memorable day out!
Alejandro was excellent! The hanging bridges tour was filled with all kinds of wildlife, and my kids rated it the best expedition we did in La Fortuna.
