Amazing experience with our tour and our tour guide (Azusa). He brought us to hidden small alley, walk through some local known places and explains history about Geisha & Shrines. Highly recommended and great value for money. Tour took just under 2 hours, during our tour street was quiet so we were able to take pictures with the iconic buildings.
We had Marisa as our tour guide and she was great! You could tell that she was studying hard to learn about Japanese culture and history to really be the best she can be! She was good with the kids and answered all of our questions. We learned a lot about the area, saw some fun stores and shrines. We loves walking around the historic areas!
We had a nice walking tour around the Gion district. Lio is a local student and was an engaging guide. He took us to a number of places and photo spots I wouldn’t have found on my own.
Night tour Atoby was a great guide. Relaxed about time, answered questions fully, informative and helpful.
Vers interesting. Learned a lot about geishas cukture, district history and stories. Pleasant guide.
Great tour. Learned a lot about geisha culture and the local landmarks. Our tour guide, Az, was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Valerie was an amazing guide. Every visitor to Kyoto should do this tour.
Excellent fun informative small group tour. A lot of small quirky local intel while walking though a lot of different but amazing sites. Saw a lot of variety of culture and life.
Very informative walking tour...even though it was raining, our guide shared her knowledge to us. Guide was considerate to the ones who walk slow, but we made it..will definitely book again. Will try to join a night tour of the same place.
Perfect tour for first day in Kyoto! Gabby was an excellent guide providing cultural and historical commentary. She ensured everyone stayed together and could hear her/participate in Q&A. Kyoto’s historical streets and neighborhoods are hidden behind modern buildings and roads— we would’ve missed them without this tour. She introduced us to many iconic spots within 2 hours.
