Yuji was very knowledgeable about geiko and maiko culture and traditions. I think the tour could have been even shorter as it was a lot of walking to get to each section. The lantern lights in the city at night were beautiful. We even spotted some maiko on our way out of the area!
Mitsuhiko was our guide and was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and even played photographer for us so we could get a family photo. He offered for stops so we could get water or use restroom as needed. This is a great tour and you learn and see so much about the history and culture. We even saw 2 geishas on our tour. I loved the time it was set for as the streets were not crowded and the weather was better. Easy meet up location and instructions.
Our guide was amazing and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history and culture and toured various neighborhoods. Would highly recommend our tour and guide Miho!
Miho was a lovely guide in Gion and the Geisha District. She was informative, friendly and kept our group engaged. She knew the local geishas residences, schools and banquet halls and we saw three Meiko-San rushing off to a performance. Our temple visits rounded it out. She was a wonderful tour guide!

We were a small group of 4 a couple and mother and son. Takashi engaged with us all. Very knowledgeable and happy to cover all our questions. It felt we were truly looked after and made this a great walking tour experience. We loved the Gion districts and found the information fascinating. We went back the following evening and got to see a Geiko and also had a fabulous meal in the area. Once again many thanks to our guide and definitely recommend.
