AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! The driver picked me up in a car that didn’t have working AC and the indicator light was flashing. Imagine driving an hour in 100 degree Malaysia weather and humidity and then waiting an hour in a parking lot for a vehicle change. The tour company markets this as a premium experience with an airport pickup, but the driver was late in picking me up and in a malfunctioning vehicle. Definitely not worth the price and headache. The tour company is also difficult to work with - under these circumstances they should provide a refund and compensation, but they have been unresponsive on WhatsApp and I have to take it up with Viator. I should’ve never booked a tour - I recommend you just get a Grab taxi.
Dear Kat Yung Keung, We are very sorry to hear about your disappointing experience and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This situation certainly does not reflect the standard of service we aim to provide. We regret that the assigned vehicle had an unexpected mechanical issue on the day of your tour. A replacement car was arranged as quickly as possible, but we understand that the wait and lack of air-conditioning caused significant discomfort, especially in the hot weather. Please know that we take your feedback seriously and are reviewing this matter with our operations team and driver to ensure it does not happen again. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us improve our service for future guests. Safe travels!
This was an excellent tour! We had a very early arrival and so this meant we could be collected from the airport and not worry about our bags or check in until later in the day. Our guide Rajan was fantastic - gave us a great run down of Malaysian history and society, gave us tips and tricks to make the most of our stay, and was so helpful throughout the day. He even took pictures of us and for us. Batu Caves were beautiful (though remember to dress modestly!), the batik workshop was really interesting, and Royal Selangor was fantastic - we plan to go back for a pewter workshop! Really recommend this tour if you want to combine several great sights and activities with an airport transfer.
The tour was amazing and the guid named albinhar bin mohd fikal is the best he's so nice make us injoy evry moment thank you
Lovely driver, very good English. Showed us some lovely stops- pewter factory, batik shop, Batu caves and Palace. All very chilled with no rush was happy to wait for us. Great start to stay in kuala lumper whilst waiting for check in times at our hotel. Thank you
Today we were picked up by our lovely driver and guide Maran who took us around for our half day tour. He was full of knowledge, pointing out places of interest, explaining the culture and answering our questions. He even stopped off to show us some rubber trees and how you get the latex off the tree. He cut into a pod to show us a rubber tree seed and it was really fascinating. The Royal Selangor Pewter factory was a lot more interesting than we thought it was going to be and the hand painted fabric place was also quite fascinating. We really enjoyed the Batu Caves and Temple with all the monkeys and views and even saw a little snake on the steps. Maran was an excellent guide and had very good knowledge. He was friendly and reliable and explained everything really well. I can highly recommend this tour and Maran (seen in the picture below).
