The Salt mines are.a definite must see when you are in Krakow. Value for money.
Really interesting and some beautiful sites BUT there were 39 people in our group this is to many you could not always hear what your guide was saying as the headset cut out You almost had to run round so the group behind did not catch you up try and pick a quieter time to visit
We had to wait 15 minutes for someone who was late and then didn’t show up and made us behind on everything else that day. Appreciate they couldn’t control this but it made two passengers leave as they were worried about getting back on time. The actual salt mines were amazing but the system this had was a bit unorganised and we didn’t get any time to have anything to eat there as we had arrived late and then they were conscious of getting back on time. Which was disappointing as we felt rushed and couldn’t experience the area as much as we like to after
This is just the transportation not the actual ticket to the mines, Poorly communicated, an uber would of been cheaper than the bus
Trip to mine good, guide with bus very informative, however 20 mins late leaving to get to mine due to late arrivals. You get a different guide at the mine who was very good, but large groups and we were rushed around. A bit disappointing as felt we did not get to see things at times or have time to enjoy the mine due to being rushed
Such a wonderful place to visit. It’s amazing to see the talents the miners possessed. It’s a must see! Caution: lots of stairs (360) going down and lots of walking. Also watch out for the exits. If you miss exit 1, you have to walk a 1/4 mile to the next exit and that much going back to your car.
The salt mines tour was fantastic, the tour itself was very enjoyable, however discover krakow the provider wasn't there at our booking time so we couldn't find our guide, no clear sign posting like board or umbrella. I had to make calls to trace the guide. Eventually, she called me, and we located her.
Salt mines are great! Had a dedicated guide to our group and a guide from the salt mine so meant good knowledge. Transfer and guide makes it easy to get too and from. Pau was our guide and she was very helpful
We had the most amazing day. The Salt Mine was breathtakingly beautiful one can go there and not marvel is the wowness this place gives. Our guide was wonderful, knowledgeable and made the whole experience AMAZING
Great time - Discover Craców is a spectacular vendor. We received a bit of a different time than what Viator gave us so make sure you have your WhatsApp ready to double check what time your Salt Mine Tour is. We ended up arriving about 90 minutes ahead of time and one of the Discover Craców folks, Norbert, gave us a private tour of the above ground portion of Wieliczka while we waited for our tour time. Really appreciated his time and learned a great deal. The mines were spectacular and gorgeous - just be ready for a lot of walking!
