The distance between Krakow and Auschwitz Birkenau is around 65 kilometres so it takes approximately 1 h 30 minutes in one way. In first Camp Auschwitz you spend about 2 hours, with guide.
After visiting Camp I Auschwitz you will have short (10 minutes) break and then we go by bus to Camp II Birkenau. The tour in Birkeanau takes about an hour with the same guide.

Customer needs to provide their accommodation address in order to perfom hotel pickup. In case of lack of this information customer will be awaited at our meeting point at Straszewskiego 14 Street. Please consider that some of the hotels located in Kraków Old Town are in traffic restricted area and no direct pickup is available! When the transfer is made by a large bus -Mercedes Sprinter- it is unable to enter some streets. In that case we provide a pickup from closest possible pickup point. Due to large siege in Museum during several occupied months, Auschwitz Museum reserves the right to change the visiting time, therefore the pickup time is approximate and may change. The pickup for the tour starts above to choosen start time option. ⚠️ You will be picked up from your selected location between 5:30am to 1:30pm depending on museum's availability to start the tour. Select your most favorable timeslot and we will try to fit you in, but it is not a guarantee. We will inform you the final pickup time at least 24 hours prior to pickup time so you can make plan to arrive at pickup location. Changing the pickup time does not entitle you to cancel the trip and receive a refund.

- LUGGAGE SIZE: Each traveller is allowed a maximum size of any baggage allowed in The Auschwitz Birkenau Museum is 30x20x10 cm. This is more or less the size of an A4 sheet. It's okay to have a small handbag or wallet with you. If your luggage is bigger, you can leave it in the locked bus parked next to the museum. Our driver will look after your luggage while you are away.
- WEATHER: We operates in all weather conditions, during this tour, you will spend up to 70% of the time outdoors, especially during the second part at Birkenau Memorial Place. Please bring weather appropriate clothing.

- In order to enter the Auschwitz Musuem customer must provide tour provider with full names of all participants. Otherwise customers won't be allowed to enter.
- ID DOCUMENTS: Every visitor has to bring ID to verify. Otherwise the security might refuse enter the Musuem
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Valid student ID allows you to get a youth discount.
- Auschwitz Museum reserves the right to change the visiting time, therefore the pickup time is approximate and may change. In the absence of a guide, the tour will be organized by purchasing tickets at the ticket office for a guided tour.

The whole reason for our trip to Krakow was to visit Auschwitz. Booked via Tui Musement in the hope they are a more reputable company. Visit was booked for the Wed as we came home Thurs. visit was cancelled on the Tues due to “insufficient guides and ticket availability”. We were not the only ones affected by this, some had travelled from as far as Australia to be sorely disappointed. Companies like this should not be able to take your money if they can’t fulfil their orders. Really terrible service.
The transport back and forth was a bit wobbly, got picked up, had to change transport, among other things. The guide on the tour was disaster, unpleasant when you had questions and too fast pace so you could not take in what you would see, we could not go to all sights either because we would not have time, we had a person in a wheelchair, we got behind immediately and she did not wait for everyone before she started talking, her English was almost impossible to understand. Absolutely not worth the money, recommend to only pay admission and walk around by yourself so you have time to see everything and read about each place.
