Itinerary

45 min

Your evening starts in Mały Rynek (Small Market Square), where you’ll meet your guide and kick off with your first taste and a local beer while chatting about Polish gastronomy and what makes Kraków such a great food city.

45 min

From there, you’ll stroll through the Old Town’s lively streets and step into a hidden local favourite for a bowl of soup that Kraków locals take seriously—so seriously, there’s even an annual festival dedicated to it.

45 min

Next, you’ll follow the Royal Route, with a classic Kraków view toward Wawel Hill, before sitting down for one of Poland’s most famous comfort foods: pierogi. You’ll taste the real deal and hear why this humble dish is basically a national treasure.

45 min

With your appetite properly warmed up, you’ll head into Kazimierz, Kraków’s former Jewish Quarter—now one of the city’s most atmospheric neighbourhoods for bars, food, and evening energy. Here you’ll try Jewish-influenced flavours, enjoy a shot of bison grass vodka, and soak up the buzz (often with live music nearby).

Fun evening trying all the polish cuisine we could have asked for

We chose this tour as we wanted to combine the old town and Jewish quarter. We felt it covered both really well and introduced us to lots of local food in places we wouldn’t have found on our own. Our guide, Alicja, was so enthusiastic and also flexible for example swapping out local beer for flavoured beer. She told us lots about what we were eating, Krakow and the local traditions. We were very lucky that it was only us 3 and very fearful that the tour wasn’t cancelled as a result.

Delicious and Authentic Experience

This was a wonderful way to sample and array of Polish culinary and alcoholic delights while avoiding the tourist traps. Food and drink were ample and quite tasty. It felt like I was eating at my grandmother's table - and that's a true compliment. Paula was also a fantastic guide! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour!

Pierogi master class :)

A really great experience! Paula, our guide, had us speaking Polish in the market and taught us how to make pierogi in her home! She was an excellent host and didn't seem to mind answering all of our questions. A truly unique way to learn about Krakow, make a new friend and taste some great Polish food. I highly recommend Paula!.

a must do experience with Paula!!!!!

Paula was wonderful. She made us feel so comfortable going to the market and asking for pierogi ingredients in Polish. We (6 of us from the same family) visited her condo and it was a fantastic experience making pierogis with her. She is a lot of fun, speaks perfect English, and a fabulous hostess. I cannot recommend her enough. 5 stars!!!!!!
