Magda met us promptly at 5 and took us on a local’s behind the scenes look at the Jewish Quarter complete with more food than we could possibly finish. The walking is easy and you get a true local perspective. You will try the day to day foods of the district along with a craft beer and 2 different vodka samples. The history and perspective that Magda was able to share were truly special and not something we find on just any food tour. The 4 different type of pirogies were delicious and an absolute highlight.
Delicious! Worth every penny (or zloty)! Mostly in the Jewish, quarter, everything was delicious. You think you've had pierogi? These were literally the best I've ever had. I thought initially the price tag was a bit high, but this was ample food along with great atmosphere. Small enough and long enough to make friends!
Magda was an amazing guide. Gave us info about krakow and specifically the Jewish Quarter where we had all our meals. Absolutely great introduction to Poland and its cuisine. Would definitely recommend doing it to everyone!
Come hungry! Our lovely guide Pioter was informative and engaging. He took us around to different restaurants all specializing in traditional Polish food.
Magda was an excellent guide. Food choices were fantastic and we had great experience! Highly recommended and go hungry!
On our first day wherever we visit we try and do 1 of these experiences. We find this helps find your way around a new place and meet other people .Our guide Konrad was a great guide ,very knowledgeable involving all the group during the whole evening we were in his company.Amazing choice of local food and we returned to a couple of these venues later in the week, but if we hadn’t done the tour we would probably never have known about them.
I had a wonderful tour with Magda F! Not only was she so knowledgeable about the food we were tasting but also gave us a lot of fun tidbits about the history of the Jewish quarter that we were touring in. All the food tasted great and we had way too much food for one evening.
Our guide, Magda F. was excellent. She knew the best restaurants to tryout the local cuisine. The pierogi’s were excellent. I would highly recommend this tour.
This tour is a ‘must do’. Our guide Magda, introduced us to so much local food and drinks, coupled with a good dash of light history and stories. Waring - Do not eat too much beforehand.
Fantastic experience. Full to the brim and tipsy to boot.
