Kościuszko Mound (Polish: kopiec Kościuszki) is an artificial mound in Kraków, Poland. It was erected by Cracovians in commemoration of the Polish national leader Tadeusz Kościuszko, and modelled after Kraków's prehistoric mounds of Krak and Wanda. A serpentine path leads to the top, approximately 326 metres (1,070 ft) above sea level, with a panoramic view of the Vistula River and the city.

The National Museum in Kraków has gathered the largest and most valuable collection of works by Stanisław Wyspiański (1869-1907) — one of the most important, original and appreciated artist from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, who belongs among such artists as Klimt, Mucha and Gaudi; the exhibition comprises of about 900 works. Around 500 pieces from the collection will be displayed as part of the largest exhibition of the artist’s works in Poland for 50 years (the last large display of his works from the Kraków collection was held at the Main Building of the National Museum in Kraków in 2000).
Welcome to the magical world of legends and stories associated with Krakow! Our robotic show presents in a unique way the most fascinating legends of the city, such as the story of the Wawel Dragon, Kinga and the salt mine in Wieliczka, the Mariacki towers, the yellow boot, and the Sigismund Bell.
The museum is located on Sasanek 2A street, Kraków-Nowa Huta. Archaeological Museum Nowa Huta branch. The Nowa Huta Branch of the Archaeological Museum in Cracow is located in the manor and park complex in Branice. The first mention of the village appeared in written sources in 1250, when Boleslaw the Chaste granted the governor of Cracow, Klemens, son of Sulislaw, the right to catch beavers in the area. Archaeological relics, on the other hand, attest to the existence of a settlement here as early as the Neolithic Age (ca. 6000 BC).
The Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Art, located in the historic Cloth Hall on Krakow’s Main Market Square, is one of the most prestigious branches of the National Museum in Krakow. It showcases masterpieces by leading Polish painters such as Jan Matejko, Henryk Siemiradzki, and Józef Chełmoński, across four themed rooms representing Classicism, Romanticism, Academic Art, and Realism/Impressionism. After its renovation, the gallery offers modern amenities and a terrace with a stunning view of the square, while preserving its rich collection of over 200 paintings and sculptures.

Note that unlike other city museum passes, this pass is from a private company Discover Cracow, and for this reason it is not available from the Krakow tourist information office. The company has an out of date webpage link on www.visitkrakow.com stating numerous attractions that the pass gives entry to, however, the following sites would NOT accept the 3 day Museum Pass: - Rynek Underground Museum - St Mary’s Basilica - Museum of Municipal Engineering - Schindler’s Enamel Factory Museum (advised they stopped accepting the pass in September 2025) We did get free access to the Barbican, City Defence Walls, Arsenal and the Czartoryski Museum. However, it does not provide access to all the museums listed on several Museum Pass website links and AI; therefore it does not achieve value for money.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sincerely sorry to hear that your experience with our Krakow City Pass did not meet your expectations and that you encountered difficulties at several attractions. We would like to clarify that the Krakow City Pass is a proprietary product created, issued, and managed directly by our company, Discover Cracow. Because this is our official pass, the only definitive, accurate, and up-to-date list of included attractions is the one published exclusively on our official website. Information found on third-party blogs, external tourism websites (including the one you mentioned), or generated by AI tools can frequently be outdated, incorrect, or misleading. We have no direct control over those external platforms, which is why we always strongly advise our guests to consult our official website directly when planning their visits. Regarding the specific sites you mentioned: Schindler’s Enamel Factory & Rynek Underground: Due to strict municipal capacity limits and independent reservation systems introduced by the city museum municipality, these venues regulate their own access. St. Mary’s Basilica: This is an active place of worship managed privately by the parish rather than a city museum, meaning it requires its own separate admission. We are glad you were able to successfully utilize the pass for the Czartoryski Museum, the Barbican, the City Defence Walls, and the Arsenal. However, we deeply regret any frustration caused by conflicting information you found online. We are actively contacting external travel sites to request the removal of their outdated content to prevent further confusion for future travelers. Thank you again for your feedback, as it helps us protect our customers and ensure a smoother experience. We hope you still managed to enjoy the rich history and beauty of Kraków. Kind Regards, Discover Cracow Team
Access to a lot of attractions: fast entrance. You must keep in mind that most museums are closed on Monday
Very handy and easy to redeem plus you get to experience most kf the attraction in krakow and the transportation itself.
Wasn't worth the money because you had to pre book the underground museum and schindlers factory and they were full until 4.50. Other cities with these passes such as Lisbon you don't need to pre book the attractions with a city pass and can skip the queue.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with the underground museum and Schindler's factory. We apologize for the inconvenience you encountered with the pre-booking system. We understand how frustrating it can be to have limited availability, especially when you were hoping to maximize your time exploring. We appreciate your comparison to other cities and will consider your suggestion about the flexibility of our booking system. Good value, lots of travel on trams. Took us a while to find where to get card as it wasn’t clear on outside of buildings where to redeem. Then when we did find one the internet signal was terrible as it was underground
Thank you for choosing Discover Cracow! We are glad that the card was useful for you and that you were able to explore Krakow with it. On our official website there is a list of locations where you can collect the card. I hope you will choose Discover Cracow again!
The guide on our bus, Julia, was so helpful and friendly. Our guide at Auschwitz was excellent. She provided good information and had an obvious passion for helping people understand. The guide at Wieliczka Salt Mine was difficult to hear, but seemed to be very knowledgeable. Bus driver was efficient and helpful.

Great pass, really worth the money. As an example, i can tell about Oscar Schindler 's factory where you can't find any tickets after 11am, but with this pass you can enter anyway
Dear Customer, Thank you for your great feedback! We are glad that our efforts and your opinions had a positive impact on your experience. It’s wonderful to hear that you found the pass valuable, especially for accessing popular sites like Oscar Schindler's factory without the hassle of ticket availability. As a token of our appreciation, please enjoy a 10% discount on your next visit with the promo code **Discover10**. Thank you once again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon! Kind Regards, Łukasz Mroczka Discover Cracow Sales Specialist
Useful card if you have a few more days to waste after doing the major sights ie auschwitz and salt mines. We visited 16 out of the 40. Allows you onto trams and buses with worrying about getting tickets and finding spare change. If are not a museum person then probably not worth it, as average entry price is approx 10 zloty. Apart from Schindler’s factory which was 24 zloty. On website since April 2019, allowed assess to Wawel cathedral . The website said audioguide should be included in Wawel cathedral however they refused us this and said not included and refused to listen or read the website details. Only disappointing aspect of trip. Shows poor communication between the discover Cracow company and the workers at the tourist sites. If in krakow for less than 4 days then not worth it. As auschwitz takes a whole day and salt mines half a day.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that you found the card useful for getting around Krakow, but we sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the audioguide at Wawel Cathedral and the discrepancy between the website and what was offered at the site. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when expectations are not met. We will address this with both the Discover Cracow team and the staff at the tourist sites to ensure better communication and consistency regarding the services provided. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a 10% discount on your next booking with us. Please use the code Discover10 when making your reservation. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback, which will help us improve our service moving forward. Kind Regards, Sales Specialist Łukasz Mroczka Discover Cracow
The museums concerned are almost all "minor" , for important things you have to pay the ticket, see royal castle x example. It can be useful for urban transport but at a cost of 25 euros it does not pay since a ticket costs very few sloty
At some museums or churches you have to get an original ticket at the ticket office. So also queue, at Not to others. (Schindler's factory)
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you found our service practical and affordable. We understand that ticketing procedures can vary between different museums and churches, which is why we strive to provide clear information about what to expect. If you have any further suggestions or questions, please feel free to reach out. We hope you had a wonderful time exploring Krakow!
