Kosovo and North Macedonia in 2 Days from Sofia

Description
During this intensitive 2 days tour from Sofia, we will explore the heritage and culture of two countries in the Western Balkans – North Macedonia and Kosovo. You will learn about the rich and fascinating ancient history of these lands and understand a bit better the complexity of the politics and the search for identity in the modern age. In North Macedonia, we will visit the capital of the country – Skopje. This city is one of the most bizarre cities on the Balkan Peninsula - a mixture of authentic monuments from the Ottoman period, and new neo-classical buildings. In Kosovo – Europe’s newest country, we will explore two of the most popular cities- Pristina (the capital of Kosovo) and Prizren. Please prepare for long distances and a lot of new impressions.

Amazing tour. Lots to see and experience. Our guide, Boris was so friendly and accommodating. Five star to him. Being vegetarian was a problem. But still managed. It's a must to see places. We wish we had more time in Kosovo.
Our guide Boris and Lena were excellent guides. They made our trip to Kosovo and Skopje very enjoyable. I give them 5 stars.
Amazing. The first driver was extremely knowledgeable. All the guides and drivers were super nice, considerate and professional. I wish I could have spent more time in each place.
For anyone interested in getting a better understanding of South Balkan’s history, culture and politics, I’d highly recommend it. Tour guides and drivers were excellent. To be honest, it would have been even better as a 3 day/2 night excursion since a good portion of the 2d day was driving back from Prizren, Kosovo.
Excursion that allows you to see several countries in a short time Thanks to rosen for the transfer of sofia to Macedonia and Valentine a very kind and attentive guide to customers who does this job with passion.
Was a great experience, we were picked up from our accommodation in Sofia and given clear instructions for how the day would work. We arrived in North Macedonia to a two hour walking tour to see all of the city. This was in forty degree heat so make sure you have plenty of water, hats and sunscreen. After we had lunch and went to Kosovo for dinner and a good nights rest. You had plenty of time in the morning to explore before heading back to North Macedonia where were picked back up and dropped into Sofia once again. All the guides were amazing and made us feel so welcome.
If you’re looking for getting a glimpse of the Balkan spirit in just 36 hours then this is a perfect tour! We learned a lot from our four experienced, knowledgeable and super friendly guides that had so much patience with all our questions. Yes it’s a couple of hours in the car but it did not feel so long. In Skopje the guided tour showed both the modern and older part of the city and the crazy many statues and then plenty of time to discover by ourselves. We then saw two sides of Kosovo with lively night life outside in Prizren, and a beautiful mountain sunset and then the city life in Pristina. The modern church and not so modern library next to each other was so interesting. We would love to see even more next time. Why not extend it to three days with more time or even include a trip to Montenegro or Albania?
Very good tour, my guide from Macedonia and Kosovo is a super nice person, willing and with a lot of knowledge of Zona. Always with the intention that I would be okay and not missing anything.
Skopje is surprised by the statues. Kosovo for the modernity of Pristina and the charm of Prizren. Skopje guide, Valentin left group without guidance at the end. Kosovo guide, Boris, very attentive.
In Macedonia, the city tour in two hours were too rush. Also we did not eat lunch until 3 pm. Not feel comfortable. In Kosovo, the driver and tour guide was very good.
