Our family of 4 booked 3 tours through Dubrovnik Day Tours (Korcula&Peljesac, Full day boat tour, and Kotor/Montenegro). The Korcula tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide (Miho) picked us up right outside our AirBnB and we travelled in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan for the day. Miho provided a great synopsis of the history the region, peppered with many hilarious anecdotes from his military service as well as more recent work as a tour guide. The drive along the coast is stunning. After a short stop in Ston (salt and oyster farming) we continued on to Korcula. Here, we were provided a guided tour of the old city by Eddy, a local guide hand-picked for us. We thoroughly enjoyed this Korcula city tour - Eddy was not only informative but also passionate about the history of the island. After lunch at a seaside restaurant, we continued our driving tour to the Peljesac region for a wine tasting. Not only was the wine sensational, the owner of the winery was an absolutely lovely lady. She gave us a history of the winery from the days of the communist rule through to today, when her sons have taken over the day-to-day functioning. After the wine, we returned back to Dubrovnik in time for a dinner! Overall a fantastic tour - well thought-out, organized, and executed perfectly. Would highly recommend!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed and enthusiastic review! We are thrilled to hear that your family enjoyed the tours with Dubrovnik Day Tours, especially the Korcula & Peljesac tour. We’re glad you enjoyed the lunch at the seaside restaurant and the wine tasting in Peljesac. It's wonderful to hear that the owner of the winery shared such a rich history with you. Your kind words about the organization and execution of the tour mean a lot to us. Thank you for recommending us! We hope to welcome you and your family on another adventure soon.
We had a fabulous full-day private tour to Korčula, Ston, Antičević Winery, and an oyster tasting. Our driver, Miho, was absolutely amazing!! He was so personable, attentive, and always making sure that we were enjoying ourselves. This day was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Croatia. My only complaint was that we didn’t have enough time in Korčula - two hours is too short, and meant we had to choose between eating and exploring/taking photos. Three hours would be perfect. Otherwise a fabulous day!
Dear Jennifer, Thank you for your review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a fabulous full-day private tour with Miho. We're glad the visit to Korčula, Ston, Antičević Winery, and the oyster tasting were highlights of your trip to Croatia. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to see you on another tour soon!
Informative guide- very knowledgeable on history, architecture local routes and other aspects of the tour.
Dear Carol, thank you for posting a review, it really means a lot to us!
I enjoyed the tour very much. The guide and driver were knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. The car was nice and comfortable. Although the weather wasn't the best, it was a great day on this private tour.
This is the tour I’d recommend to people, visited Korcula with local guide who gave a lot of history in very interesting manner, engaging our teen. Despite a long drive, it worth the scenery on the way to ferry
Dear Aleksandr, thank you for taking time and posting a review, it really means a lot. Miho says hi and we wish you all the best!
A really good day exploring a bit more of Croatia. We had Stephen as our guide and he was amazing. Well worth the money.
My partner and I had a wonderful start to our trip in Croatia by taking this tour. It started at a reasonable time, around 8am and we took the lovely winding roads to Ston. We spent some time familiarizing ourselves with the cats in town and then we were off to catch the ferry and on to Korcula. Be sure to ask about the history of the bridge that is being built to connect the two parts of Croatia! It was wonderful to see the countryside and talk about Croatian culture and history with Ivo. The food on the trip was amazing and the we couldn't have asked for a better day. Go in the winter because you'll miss the people but still experience the lovely weather one always imagines in the Mediterranean.
Dear B, I will paste you Ivo's response: HI B, Thanks for great review. It was a really fun day with a lot of great discussions. And we also lived in CT and OH on the same locations :)))) what a chance?!!?! Korčula is beautiful in the winter and it seems the whole old town was just for us! I wish you all the best and hope to see you again in the future! Ivo
We were greeted at our hotel by wonderful Stefan for our beautiful day tour of Korčula, Ston and wine tasting. It was phenomenal! It’s a must see trip. Absolutely gorgeous! The next day Ivo picked us up in another clean fab car to take us to visit Pocitelj, Blagaj and Mostar in Bosnia. It was wonderful. Best way to see Bosnia. Each town was great. Ivo made sure to take us to all the best photo sites and even took us to get the Burek (flavors - meat, cheese and spinach, pumpkin and cheese) with yogurt - it was delicious 😋 , Ivo was an encyclopedia of knowledge on the history of the areas and I highly recommend this company for all your southern Croatia needs.
Dear Californian Ladies, It was a true pleasure to have you as our guests during our winter day trips! As you saw, all the historical sights we visited were without people but that is the beauty of winter tours. You have all the sights just for yourselves! As we agreed, hope to see you again in summer! All the best and greetings to LA!
