Captain Glen is very informative and personable. It felt more like going on a boat ride with a friend than going on a tour. We had a great time.
The weather was perfect. The sunset beautiful. The "captain" could have talked a little less about himself and given us more information about the area and what is available in Crytal River.
Awesome time. The captain was a delight. His knew a lot about the area. The boat had just the right amount of people, not over crowded. My only complaint was , the seats were too hard. I would of brought a cushion if I had known. My 96 year old mother enjoyed herself, but it was a hard sit for her. I would go again with a cushion.
Very nice trip, we saw dolphins, manatees, and several birds. It was a little too cloudy, so the sunset was not much. Capt. Glenn was great & very knowledgeable
The check-in was easy and the person at the desk was friendly. I called before arriving because our Tripadvisor information listed two addresses, making it confusing. The 525 NW 7th Ave is the address to use. It was a pleasant tour of the area. Weather was nice, and we did see a number of manatee and water fowl. This is not a “manatee sighting” tour because the water is mirror-like after 3 pm; yet, we did see them with polarized sunglasses and as they surfaced to breathe. The captain was talkative, sharing personal experiences and wildlife stories. The negative would be a female participant on the tour who made a couple of cellphone calls and took several more incoming calls. Her conversations were overriding the tour captain and annoying. I understand with a new company ironing out the rules; however, No Personal cellphone calls on the tour should be a rule going forward. Her loud conversations were 🤨. Otherwise, I would recommend the tour. The price was very reasonable for a 1 and 1/2 hour boat tour.
Excellent tour - beautiful sunset- manatee and osprey Learning history of the area and about that crystal river
Excellent experience! Our guide, Captain Glenn, clearly enjoys what he does. He made an effort to give everyone on the boat a chance to see manatees and ospreys, and shared great info. The group on the boat all interacted with him and each other and it was just a fun evening.
The sunset will be whatever it will be, the captain can't predict the weather. The best part of this sunset cruise is the information you get from the experienced captains. Our captain, Glenn is passionate about teaching people the area. It's not just a job for him, it is and has been a big part of his life. You will get the most experience and maybe a nice sunset to boot. I'll go again anytime I'm back in Crystal River.
We had a wonderful time. The tour guide was very good with everyone. He had great history and stories about the area. He found us animals to see and was very careful with the area and the animals.
Loved it. The captain was the ABSOLUTE best!! We had so much fun. Sunset & manatees. He gave us so much area history & interesting facts too!
