Amazing tour.

It's a long boat ride to the Glacier but the crew and caisson were entertaining and informative. The boat was well appointed and comfortable. We were thrilled to see whales, seals and a sea otter. The Glacier was spectacular.

Highly recommend

Amazing experience, highly recommend. Team were great - very knowledgeable about the area, wildlife and glacier formations. We saw humpback whales pretty close to the boat, seals - mums and pups and luckily saw the Dawes glacier calving which was a real bonus. Amazing scenery and definitely one for the amazing experience bank!

The Highlight of our Alaska Trip

My husband & I both agree that our True Alaskan tour of Endicott Arm Fjord was, without a doubt, the highlight of our Alaska trip! While we originally booked expecting Tracy Arm Fjord, we were notified months in advance of the change to Endicott due to Tracy Arm being closed. The change added an extra hour to our already-long tour & I was afraid it would be too long to be worth it. However, our expectations were 100% exceeded. We hardly noticed the time passing as Captain Patrick navigated us through the fjord & surrounding passages, getting the boat as close as possible (super close, in many cases) to all of the natural beauty & wildlife. We did happen to have a perfect day for viewing - a mix of clouds & sun, but no rain. Stephen was our naturalist & he maintained a running commentary of interesting facts about what we were seeing. He is clearly knowledgeable & not just repeating a script. Our deckhand, Kyle, helped keep everything running smoothly, handed out the included boxed lunches (a generous turkey sandwich with chips, cookies & a water) & doled out drinks (for purchase) cooled with glacier ice that he & Stephen fished out of the water by Dawes Glacier. We saw bears, eagles, harbor seals, whales (actually closer than on the whale-watching tour we took the next day), glaciers, waterfalls, & more. The seats on the boat were comfy, with huge windows for the views & outside viewing available as well. Pro tip - sit in the front of the boat as the Captain may allow the bow to be opened for you to go out & take pictures when he slows down for wildlife or nature viewing. I took more photos on this tour than any other day on our trip. If you are on the fence about this tour, I fully recommend going for it!

take this trip!

we had an amazing day! due to the landslide at tracy arm, our trip went through endicott arm to dawes glacier. it was literally a perfect day—i think we got crazy lucky on the wildlife front—humpback whales giving us a performance, sea lions, seals, an otter, and we even stopped to watch a black bear exploring the beach. and we also got to see the glacier calving! every bit of the day was absolutley stunning! and the crew was amazing—especially kind when my husband lost his phone to the water! and they gave us the recommendation to hike west glacier at mendenhall, which ended up being our highlight! many thanks all around! highly recommend!

Excellent trip!

Great tour of Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier was spectacular! On the southbound journey, we saw several humpback whales, maybe six, at least a dozen sea lions basking on ice bergs, and a black bear at the shoreline. Captain Dan and his crew, Mya and Eva, did a wonderful job! Professional, knowledgeable, and great personalities all contributed to the passengers having a wonderful experience! Thank you so much! Loved the tour!

Best Glacier Tour!

Unforgettable experience! The boat ride driving up to the glacier was surreal. We saw mini icebergs, seals, whales, and waterfalls all along the way. Once at the glacier the view was miraculous.

The Complete Alaska Experience In One Unforgettable Excursion

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. We saw multiple humpback whales breaching, and the captain would slow down and stay in the area long enough for everyone to enjoy the moment and get plenty of photos and videos. The crew was constantly watching for wildlife and did an amazing job spotting animals along the way. We saw both black bears and brown bears along the shoreline, bald eagles, and sea lions. Every time wildlife was spotted, the captain would safely maneuver as close as possible so everyone could get a great view. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We cruised past countless waterfalls and even got close enough to some of them for incredible photos and videos. The views of Tracy Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier were spectacular. What made the excursion even better was how much we learned during the trip. The crew shared interesting history and facts about Dawes Glacier, the surrounding wilderness, and the wildlife we encountered. What I loved most is that you get everything you could possibly want in an Alaskan excursion all in one trip... whales, bears, bald eagles, sea lions, waterfalls, glaciers, incredible scenery, and fascinating history. It felt like the complete Alaska experience packed into one unforgettable day. If you're visiting Alaska and considering this excursion, I highly recommend it. The combination of wildlife, scenery, and knowledgeable staff made it an experience we'll never forget.

Awesome glacier, waterfalls and whales!

The glacier was so beautiful. The boat spends plenty of time there for lots of photos. We had a thrilling experience with humpback whales on the way back. Two whales surfaces right by the boat. One waved a huge fin at us and then we saw a breach!!!
