Private tours are thebest! Aleta informed us where she would be and a picture so we would recognize her helpful. Tour was amazing and pictures we took so great. Would do private tours again and again to avoid walking too much and avoiding large bus loads. Thank you again!
It was a perfect way to explore Juneau. Aleta has been an excellent tour guide. She has a vast knowledge of the area, it’s culture and the people.
Great trip to fall in love with Juneau! Our tour guide, Aleta, was great and knowledgeable. Knew all the perfect spots… that allowed us to see the sites with less people. She took great care of us.
Great tour, easy to work with and communicate for pick up. Our tour guide Ray was pleasant and knowledgeable. Great relaxing tour of Juneau.
What a day! David was wonderful - knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time learning about Juneau and seeing the sites. The wildlife must have gotten the memo as we saw three bears and a gazillion eagles (including babies in nest). It truly was one of the best road tours I’ve done in Alaska. Highly recommend David!
This was the perfect way to see Juneau. Aleta was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about Alaska. She made sure we saw the places that were important to us and we feel like we got to see so much more than if we had gone on a big group tour.
Aleta was wonderful. She took us all over Juneau. She was extremely knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. The place she took is to see the eagles was amazing hour many where there.
We had a lovely driving tour with Aleta as our guide. She was very interesting and informative, sharing many facts and answering our questions about living in Juneau. She took us through town, pointed out interesting buildings, etc. We saw lots of scenery, eagles, bears, a lovely retreat center, the humpback statue, totems, and more. Plus, she had snacks! She also offered to take pictures of us with our phones. Aleta was very gracious and considerate of our 98 year old mom’s comfort and abilities during the tour. When the tour was over and we were walking back to our ship, we realized we forgot a bag in the vehicle. I phoned Aleta and she immediately returned—with a smile. Aleta did an exemplary job! We are glad we booked this as a shore trip for the three of us.
Dave is very knowledgeable & has a great personality. He wants to share his love for nature & the Juneau sites with all.
The pre-trip communication was excellent and made everything easy to understand ahead of time. The morning of the excursion was simple and well organized, which made for an stress-free start. Aleta did an incredible job sharing the history of the town and surrounding area. Being away from the large bus tours made the experience much more relaxing, personal, and informative. We really enjoyed the pace and appreciated the local knowledge that made the excursion feel special. And got to see and enjoy bears.
